Overall I really enjoy this bookcase. The directions were super clear and simple- which is great for someone like me who is not handy whatsoever. I usually have to do a lot of mental work to understand instructions but this was straight and to the point! I also love that they added gloves and a few other pieces for your convenience. I have built 3 bookcases and this has been the easiest by far. I didn’t use any power tools so it did take about 2 hours to put together, but overall i’m super happy with how it turned out! My only issue was that there was no preset holes for the backing, so I ended up just not adding in the backing. I was also super worried it wouldn’t be tall enough to fit my larger books but it fits everything perfectly! This shelf is such a cute color! It’s quite spacious and can fit a lot of books. The shelves have good spacing in between and can fit his taller toys and books. Putting it together was very easy, but the one thing I do wish is that the screws were regular Phillips screws instead of the Allen wrench screws. It does come with a drill bit, but it would get stuck in the screw if I tried to screw it all the way in. So I had to finish with the Allen wrench, making the process longer. But still, a quick build. I like that the edges are slightly rounded and the screws are painted blue, so they blend well. I’m really happy with this purchase! ... show more

Beautiful bookcase! Very easy to assemble. The only fault is the description is pear yellow but it’s really just wood tone. Also they should include wood tone screw covers. Because the screws are pear yellow and they really stand out after the bookcase is assembled.

Looks great, easy to assemble (with the drill bit attachment included) and very solid. I recommend this... Some.of the reviews states that it is unstable, but I purchased the largest bookshelf and do not see any issues. The color is what is expected per the photos (I purchased blue)

I love the design and color of this bookcase, and purchased two for my daughter's playroom. I was pretty disappointed to find that a lot of the pieces have scratches and brown marks on them. I would've returned if this had been for anywhere else in my home, but since I know kids are going to be hard on it anyways, I kept it. I do think it's overpriced for the quality. $100 maybe, but $150 is too much for what you get. Pros: Color and design are pretty, unique, and aesthetic! The piece seems sturdy. Comes with wall anchors for anti-tipping Cons: Scratched pieces, screws showing everywhere (wooden dowels and cam screws would be so much better). The back pieces don't have pre-marked holes or anything to help line it up, which made it difficult to get the nails into the unit sometimes. Make sure when you put it together, you examine each piece for the best side to face out. All in all, it's fine for kids, but this wouldn't go anywhere else in my home because the quality is not there with all of the scratches and screws showing. ... show more
