Just the box with the two pieces of the cover inside. I've used similar products so I knew how to install it. I ordered the rose tinted clear case for my Air M1 in rose gold. Pieces snapped right into place and fit top and bottom of unit well. The plastic pieces look good and so far (just a few weeks) are working well. Hence only 4 stars due to newness.

There's a lot of techie discussions on the 'Net - dating back years - about whether to use a cover. If you fall down on the "use" side, this one's a good bet, and less likely than some to be a source of purported damage to the display (due to the tiny, barely significant clips). It's matte finish is clear enough to show the M1 Air's color. The weight isn't noticeable. It's probably the least "fingerprint magnet" surface you'll find (especially at this price). It looks good, and doesn't add significant bulk. It probably adds little-to-no drop protection... so don't do stupid stuff like dropping your Air; it exists to give a sheen of scratch protection to the Air's surfaces... it's fine for that purpose. I'll buy it again when the need arises (=new Macbook), and would easily recommend it to others.

This case has been by far the most easiest case I have been able to put on my MacBook! It snapped on seamlessly! As someone who has gone through many cases, this is by far the best one! It feels sturdy, and when putting the case on I didn’t feel like I was going to break or damage the screen or even the exterior. This fits my laptop perfectly for A2337 model. Even the cutouts are precise to this model! Definitely recommend this case, especially when it goes on sale & has a coupon that can be applied. I purchased the matte clear and it shows off my MacBook color without being so shiny like other cases. The case adds a little bulk to my laptop but I honestly don’t mind it. Will have to update once i put this case to the test. As a uni student I spend most of my time outside studying so I like the extra pads on the bottom of the case!
