I have used literally dozens of prepaid data-only SIM cards for home internet. What I do is install them in a smartphone and then use the hotspot feature to use the mobile phone's internet data on my personal computer. As a system it works only as well as the service supplying the SIM card, a company that partners with one or more of the three major cellular infrastructure owners of TMobile, AT&T or Verizon. In short, I've got lots of experience with these data-only SIM cards, albeit most from a single location. This card gave me very good speeds for surfing at all hours of day and night for the roughly one week period it took me to use the high speed 10GB allotment. No problems at all, and as often is the case I got extra data, 10.7GB of high speed per my phone's data usage counter. As one of these cards can be had for currently $21 (after digital coupon) that's also a great deal of just $2 per GB. Then there's the extra unlimited low speed data for 30 days. I got slow enough speeds that I gave up after some of the websites I frequent were loading slowly or in some cases failing to load at all. For some reason online banking at chase.com has data intensive page loads (go figure - no video or high def images) and my Chase account home page would not load at all. My orders page at amazon.com did load fairly well. But overall the frustration was not worth it so I removed this SIM card and forfeited the low speed data I might have used for the next 3 weeks. To be honest sometimes it was slower than dialup and when some sites would not load at all I just didn't have the patience. Youtube videos even at lowest resolution would not run at all. Still, if you just look at this card as 10GB of high speed as if it did not also have unlimited low speed, it's a great performer and a great deal at $2 per high speed GB over 30 days. The extra unlimited low speed is just gravy, which depending on your needs and situation might have considerable value. Finally, I have used various data only SIM cards from TALKSIM before, and they have been among the easiest to configure and most trouble-free. With other more obscure brands of cards I've had miserable experiences with configuration problems, and dealing with customer service. With TALKSIM, having used perhaps 20 of their SIM cards, I've had zero problems or issues that were not resolved quickly. This card earns a five star recommendation, delivering on both quality and value. TALKSIM has for me also performed among the best of the various companies that sell data-only cards.

This SIM card works great and is easy to setup--just insert it into your phone. It's nice that it has international coverage, too, making it a great choice for travel. It also supports 5G and a decent amount of data, although I wouldn't use it for streaming videos, for example.

I checked this out in the US before we left and used it in Mexico for a week and the speeds and connectivity were average. The instructions and set up were very easy to do and I appreciated that as some are not. Let's face it you're going to use your regular cell phone plan the majority of time. But in an emergency or an outage of your service, these cards can become very vital for communication! For this reason the ease of use of this card gets good scores. No Packaging was well done and I do not see it breaking in transport. I received this product for review. I was not paid for my opinion, I have not been contacted by the seller, and my opinion is my own honest opinion for better or worse. The only difference between my normal reviews and my Vine reviews, are I try to go more in depth out of courtesy for others and in respect of the program itself. I also still have to pay taxes, actually use the product, and spend time writing this. I borrowed this initial format from another vine program reviewer, but did not get his name so whomever you are, thank you!!! My impression overall of the vine program as since the sellers know we are free to leave our honest opinion, they believe in their products before putting them into the program!! I used this during a multi-country trip and it saved me so much stress—just popped it in and was good to go with solid coverage in every place I visited. The data was fast and reliable for maps, messaging, and light browsing, and even after hitting the high-speed cap, it was still usable. No contract or setup headaches, which made it even better.

Anticipating an international trip, I got this card so that I'd be able to use my US phone without racking up high international roaming fees. I was able to install it and configure my phone for connectivity here in the US just fine. The SIM card is a typical triple-cut so you can just pop out the size you need -- most modern phones use the smallest "nano" size. Assuming this works across the borders where we're going, it should save us a good bit of money. It connected to the network here at home easily, and I guess the card auto-activated, because I was able to use mobile data through it. Now I just need one the wife, and we'll be set!

It worked really well. Setup was very easy. Just follow the provided instructions. Signal quality was nice. It's data for thirty days, then you will need to pay for more.
