These are hard plastic and feel cheap. They do snap together easily. They have gaps which will let lots of debris and dirt collect underneath and will need lifted to clean under.

I used these in my yard in a site that will not allow grass to grow. Placed weed barriers over the site and was able to easily place the tiles and it looks great! Took only a few minutes to install. Love the look!
