I wanted to organize the tool area, so I purchased this cabinet as well as some trays to store some of our smaller stuff such as hardware, nail guns, hammers, screwdrivers, and other similar type things. Another advantage is that it can be locked, so I don't have to worry about my container being locked all the time. This is a two-door lockable steel storage cabinet with shelves. It's black and would be fantastic in the office, garage, or any other room you can imagine. The cabinet measures 1.5 feet deep, 3 1/2 feet broad, and 3 1/2 feet tall. This cabinet is made of thick gauge steel and the two doors are reinforced with additional steel bars. The surface of the storage cabinet is painted with ecologically friendly spray paint to preserve it in like new form and it's rust-resistant. It has two adjustable shelves with a load capacity of up to 180 pounds each, making it suitable for storing most items. The three-point lock system in this cabinet has been updated, and the steel rods have been thicker to give greater security for your valuables. I was very much impressed with the delivery of this cabinet. The finish was impressive. The packaging was also impressive. Not one little scratch or dent. With a little patience, mechanical ability assembly was fine. Time to assemble from unpacking, focusing on pictures to assemble, to complete assembly 1 hour 45 minutes. I had a hard time trying to figure out the directions & what it was trying to tell me how to set up as it only had pictures & NO WORDS. The manual needs some serious updating. I had to wait a week for my son to come by & help me with it. After I did get it built, it looks nice in my garage & fits perfect against the wall. I have a traumatic brain injury so following hard to read instructions is a real barrier to me. While there video was not step by step and missed a couple of steps; the video was very helpful. The media could not be loaded. When trying to organize my office and home recently I found the perfect solution with the this chunky lil metal storage cabinet. It is a lockable steel storage cabinet that comes with two doors and shelves. The black metal cabinet also includes a lock so I can rest easy knowing all my items are safe and secure. The design of the cabinet is simple and it was very easy to assemble - it came in pieces so it took me around 20 minutes (I was taking my time lol) to put together using simple tools like a Phillips screwdriver and an adjustable wrench which are provided along with the assembly instructions. After putting the pieces together this small steel cabinet has plenty of storage space for larger items like jackets, sports equipment, files or other organizational needs.
