  • Remember to temporarily remove your cabin air filter before applying
Works well when you properly prepare the car as follows: 1. Clean/blow off and wash off that external air intake area prior to applying this. 2. The biggest thing people forget is to temporarily remove the cabin air filter prior to spraying this in the external air intake around the hood windshield area. You want this product to go past where the cabin air filter is and reach the A/C system. 3. Once you start spraying it into the external air intake, you’ll notice the fumes are pretty strong. Same goes for the inside of the car. I got a little bit of a headache during application, so take precautions. 4. You already have the cabin air filter out as part of this exercise, so replace it with a clean, new filter while you are there. After running the car’s A/C system for about 20 minutes, I was concerned about the chemical smell in the car being too strong, so I washed off the external air intake area with the garden hose and ran it another 10 minutes. The results were awesome: the bad smells were gone. I let it sit overnight and drove with the windows down the next day. The chemical smell was very light on day 1 and completely gone by day 2. ... show more

  • Swapping out stinks
I got this because I noticed a mildew odor coming from my car's vents. It was easy enough to use, and I don't smell the mildew any longer....but my car now stinks of knockoff febreeze anytime I turn on the air. After a week, it's faded a little, and I'm counting down the days until the scent (hopefully) disappears completely. I can't tell at this point if it's killed or just covered up the mildew. ... show more

  • Not effective
Not very effective for car odors. Used as directed and while it doesn’t leave a bad, perfume smell It really didn’t do anything for neutralizing the weird smell in a newly purchased used car.

  • I was skeptical at first...
I'm was pretty skeptical of this product. I do car detailing as a hobby and got an extra car for really cheap but it needed a ton of detail work. Before using this, the AC would give me a headache. After using this and letting it sit for a day it smells like nothing. 100% satisfied with this product and I am going to buy more for my other cars. ... show more

  • Damaged item! Very dangerous, especially when its a pressured can. Better buy in person.
Extremely disappointing Experience! I have always been apprehensive about ordering anything important on Amazon. The can came damaged in a way, where the plastic that you press to get the spray out was pressed inward. I thought it was by design. I shook the can and tried to spray but it wasn't coming out and it was leaking from the side. I was worried it might burst due to the pressure so I tried to move the plastic, but the entire foam now started oozing out. I wish I could record it, but I was worried it might burst. SECONDLY, there was ONLY a little in that. Basically in under 15-30 seconds, it was over! I couldn't spray anything inside the car vents. I could only hold the can on top so that at least the foam dripping could get in. Basically $12 wasted. The liquid marks on the floor is all the spray foam. ... show more
