I love faux fur. My bed is queen, but my husband likes to curl in softness, so I had to reorder to get King size so I could have cover. Comforter is very shag, which I love, which creates a coolness when you throw your leg out to cool. When the King is worn out I definitely reorder. Everyone’s taste is deferent but I love this comforter. Granddaughter will get the queen as she is like her grandma. Lightweight, soft, comfy a plus.

I got this for my kitties because it’s their favorite sort of texture to sleep on. The love it. After the second night I just had to fold it down to the bottom of the bed because I was sweating all night. Then I put the pillow case right next next to me for the one who cuddles all night. It’s good now in LA because we’re having a cold spell of 40-60–(DO NOT LAUGH) but won’t even be able to use it it when it warms. Unless pershaps we could sleep on top of it with no covers. If your cats love making biscuits and you live in a colder climate they will be so happy. They look like angels sleeping in clouds. Or maybe you want to feel like a princess in your bed.

NGL,this comforter has gotten me more ladys than a big dog has flees. I leave my bedroom blinds open and the outcome has been astonishing. I have slept with all the women in my building and two of the ladys in the leasing office. Highly recommend!

I do not use comforter's as a blanket. I take it off the bed every night so I do not have to wash often at all. I had to wash this one because the cat puked on it. It bunched up, and worst of all discolored. I could have dealt with the bunching up but not discoloration. So sad because it is a nice comforter but heavy one. I washed according to instructions and let air dry for most of the time so not sure why this even happened. This is why I do not write reviews too soon.

Absolutely love this comforter. It's like climbing under a cloud every night. I'm a very hot sleeper but even in the late summer I was neither hot nor cold. The 'mink' side that's against your skin is so wonderful. Trouble came when my lovely dog vomited on my beautiful comforter. I hadn't washed it yet because I was afraid to but now I had no choice. It washed fine and even though it was heavy, I managed to get it outside to the patio and spread it out over patio furniture to dry. When I brought it back inside there were still several very went spots so I put it in the dryer and decided to turn it on low for 5 mins. and then I'd turn on air only. After 5 mins. my timer went off and I removed it from the dryer so I could reposition it and to my horror there were several melted spots already. I checked it over and it seemed that the melted spots were on the edges of the comforter and none in the main body of it. I laid it out over living room furniture to finish drying. My advice is to never put it in the dryer on any heat setting (even mine, which was the lowest possible setting). I removed 2 stars because if you follow the manufacturers directions for washing and drying, you will have a huge lump of melted plastic. Update: 12/3/22 - This is how I launder my comforter - wash in cold water with a small amount of mild detergent, then use the 'spin only' choice on your washer if you have that choice otherwise run it through the spin cylcle a few times to get as much water out as possible. Next put it in the dryer on air only with some tennis balls (I use the woolen balls) and fabric softener sheet. Depending on how long the cycle is on your dryer you may need to run it through the air cycle more than once. My machine is old so it took 2 full cycles but came out beautifully. Except for the hottest months this past summer, this has been on my bed along with 2 dogs. For Christmas I ordered myself a new one that I hope to have for a few years. or longer. I ordered the king size for my full size bed - if you think a husband is a blanket hog, try 2 dogs!

I bought this comforter almost one year to this date and it is still in the same great condition that it was when I originally bought it. My suggestion is to spot clean as needed and to wash the comforter every 3 months or more often as needed. Only wash the comforter on the gentle cycle and hang the comforter to dry. Do not put this comforter in the dryer - it will ruin the shagginess! However, just a warning, it can take 1-2 business days for this comforter to air dry, which is dependent upon where you place the comforter to air dry.
