This is the second monitor I have received from this manufacturer and continues to offer excellent performance. Coming in at just 14 inches, this can safely be classified as a compact or mini-monitor. Intehill focuses on color accuracy and this monitor excels in that area. The design is neat and crisp. The screen itself is tempered glass and exudes quality. That said it might be hard to keep fingerprint and grime free and it is quite reflective so bright light might be an issue. It’s almost frameless apart from a brushed gunmetal strip that runs along the bottom of the screen. The overall casing is a textured dark gray plastic. On the rear is a fold out stand. There are also holes for a mini-VESA mount for more permanent installation. Rounding off the rear side are two small speakers which offer performance on the level of a small transistor radio, if you can remember what one of those is? It’s adequate for listening to news broadcasts but don’t expect a cinematic performance. On the side are two USB-C inputs and one HDMI. Both the USB’s can carry video and audio as well as power if your source device offers that. Mine, a mini-PC, does. If that’s not the case, power can be supplied via an included wall adapter to one USB input while video is supplied to the other or the HDMI input. When used with HDMI, the power adapter must be used since HDMI doesn’t carry power, only audio and video. It’s possible to have two sources connected with switching provided between the two. With the set-up I have, I use the mini monitor in my living room to the side of my main OLED TV on a cantilever arm so that I can keep an eye on emails, social media etc. from my mini-PC. The PC is also hooked up to the tv so it's possible to have both displaying the same source or I can have the TV displaying a movie or TV while the monitor shows the computer. Unlike many similar monitors, there's actually a way to power off the monitor without unplugging the USB-C cable. Just press and hold the power button for three seconds and it goes off. This is more useful than you might think especially if the monitor is seated in a tight space and it's hard to reach the cables. In terms of performance this is a 2.5K monitor which is more than adequate at this screen size. Color can be very accurate and I was able to dial in an almost exact match to my OLED TV which I know to be well calibrated. Images can look extremely sharp with crisp text. 4K nature videos practically leap off the screen and shadow detail is retained in darker areas. Absolute blacks look fine in a well lit room but lose some authority in critical dark room viewing. I tried to watch a Netflix movie using just this monitor close up with wired headphones hooked up to the socket provided on the side. For me, the screen was just too small for this and I had to watch through the lower section of my bifocal glasses. It worked better at a distance of a few feet but by then the image was too small overall. The sound from the headphone socket was ok but a bit boxy and midrange focused. But again, I don’t think this is intended as a centerpiece in a Home Theater set up. For my use it’s just fine and fits much better in a space where I had a larger, inferior 1080p monitor. The size is suitable to put in a back-pack with a laptop or tablet and I had no problem powering the monitor with either without having to use the included power supply. Also included are two USB-C cables, one video capable and the other, terminating in a USB-A plug, is for power and data only. Rounding out the package is a standard HDMI cable and all of the cables are of the quality, braided, variety. A slip cover is not provided and so will have to be purchased separately for mobile operation. Over all this is a neat package. The monitor is of high quality with a great picture and an adequate, if now standard, feature set.

This monitor is a good size for travel. I have 12" and 14.6" tablets and the size of this monitor is a good companion for them to extend their screens. It's also big enough to be the primary monitor for my 8" Windows 11 machine. I generally prefer 4K monitors, but it can be nice to not need to scale up the display to be able to read it when the resolution is that high. At 2.5K, I don't need to adjust the default settings as everything is readable for me as-is. The screen is glossy so it will unfortunately reflect light very well. The top and side bezels are thin and lood good, but there is a larger 1/2 inch chin at the bottom. However, I appreciate that the manufacturer didn't smack their brand or logo in that space, so the look is very clean. I love that there is a proper kickstand on the back of the monitor. This means you don't have to rely on any fiddly folio cases to prop it up. But it also means you don't get any kind of protection for the monitor. Because this isn't a touch screen monitor, it may not be the best companion for Android devices. You'll want to be connected to a mouse and keyboard or use your device as a touchpad for the configuration to make sense. For use on the go, you'll probably want to pack a battery pack to power the monitor and/or the attached device. It requires power to operate with my Android devices. There is also no pen support, so this isn't an artistic tool, either. It is simple additional screen for getting more viewing area for your work and/or entertainment. There is even a headphone jack if you want to enjoy your entertainment without disturbing others. The colors look good without being overly saturated and the monitor isn't super heavy or especially bulky, so it can fit in a space where you'd put a 14" laptop with no problems. If you do plan to connect to a mobile device, maybe consider a touch screen monitor and if you will in bright light, maybe consider getting a monitor with a matte screen. Otherwise, this is a solid choice for a price that isn't at all unreasonable.

I only have one bad thing to say about this monitor and it's that it doesn't come with a case or cover. I first tested this with my iPad and it looks excellent. I changed the color profile to User and didn't adjust the individual settings and to me the colors look just like my iPad. This is the only portable monitor of the 4 I own that was so easy to get decent colors. It's also really light and comes with all called you need plus a power supply. When I plugged the monitor into my laptop there was even an on screen warning that it might not be getting enough power. A classic problem with portable monitors but this is the first I've ever seen give the simple warning on screen. Plug it in to power, including a suitable power bank, and it bumps the brightness up. It's nice having all of the controls and ports on one side. The stand is great and firm enough that you can use it in almost any position from opened to closed.
