We got this for our 3 year old who's obsessed with trucks and trailers/campers. When we opened the amazon bag, the hitch was rattling around inside the box. It was either broken in shipping or before it was shipped. It is a super thin plastic, which for a hitch designed to drag a trailer around seems silly. It is neat that the hitch can be removed by a small screw and could be replaceable if we can find the right part. We did try super gluing it for him, however the hitch ball barely fits in the receiver of the camper (and I mean for an adult putting it togther; my 3 YO would not be able to it himself). The hitch broke as soon as we tried to put the trailer on it (glue had dried) because it took that much force to try to get the hitch to go in the receiver (yes we were careful to rotate it in, not just push it in, but theres very little clearance between the hitch and back of the truck to rotate much) . Super cheap and very disappointed. Would not recommend for any age, but especially not a child who might actually want to play with it. ... show more

Grandson loved it, but within the first 2 hours of playing with it, the hitch broke off the truck. We're trying to rig up another "hitch" so he can connect the camper again. Hitch made of cheap plastic and knob just easily broke off while towing.

Well, what can I say? My grandson loved this. It's a good size at a great price and it looks really nice. My grandson will get a lot of fun playtime with this. I guess this is where it all begins... boys and their toys 😂😂 lol

The video we watched before buying it showed the outbound was able to move, it was fixed in place so when my son tried to move it the outboard broke right off withing the first 10 minutes of playing with it. The video also showed it was much larger than it is even though their dimensions they showed are much smaller. Lights and sound work fine, no English writing anywhere on it. I bought this because it had a semi realistic outboard. Which was not the case. Disappointed 😞 ... show more

My grandson loves playing with vehicles and he picked out this truck & trailer. The truck is metal with doors that open but the plastic hitch is delicate. Because of the complaints on how fragile the hitch is, I reinforced it with a glue gun. We’ll see if that helps it last longer. It took awhile to figure out the lights & sound are triggered by pushing down on the truck body or hood.
