I Love the original but it's kind of pricey for my wallet these days so I thought I'd try this. It does pretty much smell like the original, however, it does have an overtone scent like what I've always called "granny perfume" I don't know exactly how to explain except kind of a peppery or musk type scent that is noticeable right off (at least on me) but the rest of the scent is almost identical to the original. The "granny perfume/musk scent" Does seem to go away after a while of wearing the perfume. I usually spray one good/solid squirt at the back of my neck right into the hairline. Everyone smells different with different scents so you'll just have to try this yourself. There's a couple of knock off scents I don't care for. (For example I don't like original CK One on women but I really like it on men. I know...weird lol) I personally like it which is why I gave it 5 stars. I thought about 4 cuz of the initial musk type scent but it did go away after wearing it for a little while. I have had the scent last an entire day. ... show more

The scent was supposed to be reminiscent of Chanel no 5. This did not smell like Chanel at all. At least not the way that I remember it. Granted it has been quite a long time since I have been able to afford Chanel no 5, so I thought that I would give this a shot. Why?? I should have known better. It was overly musky, and extremely strong. Seriously you could use this as air freshener for a cattle barn, it is that strong. I had a bad allergic reaction and was coughing and had to thoroughly wash off my wrists a few times before the scent was dissipated. It smelled cheap and overpowering, like the axe body spray version of women's knockoff perfume. I love the convenience of ordering stuff on Amazon, but I will never again order a perfume or cologne unless it's the real thing, and I'm sure of what I'm getting. Oh well, at least I'm not out too much, and I can donate it to Goodwill. Maybe someone else will like it, who knows? All I know is I couldn't breathe very well, and was coughing like crazy, and it is unfortunately not returnable. ... show more

I love the smell of this perfume. Smells just like the original & it's waaaay cheaper & the smell lasts well into the latter part of the day. No spray or bottle leaks. I have purchased several fragrances from this brand over the last few years & will continue to do so. 🫠

Smells like No.5 eau de toilette, light fragrance that lasts a little while. This is NOT a cologne that overpowers, but a much lighter daytime fragrance. Good size, sprays fine.

There is absolutely no substitute for Chanel. This doesn’t come close. It’s not bad but it IS strong. I sprayed it on yesterday and received a headache from the strength. Today, the sweater I sprayed on has a more pleasant fragrance that isn’t pugnacious. All in all, it isn’t bad. I read comments that the fragrance didn’t last, I must disagree. I USED TO GET "IMITATION WHITE DIAMONDS", BUT CAN'T FIND IT ANY LONGER. YEARS AGO, THE "ORIGINAL" CHANEL WAS MY FAVORITE. MY HUSBAND USED TO BUY IT FOR ME FOR CHRISTMAS. THEN IT GOT SO PRICEY I STOPPED ALTOGETHER. THIS IS JUST AS GOOD. . . .ONLY "LIGHTER".

The Mugler Angel one is a VERY good match. Best dupe for Mugler Angel so far that I’ve been able to find. It doesn’t last as long as the real deal but it’s still great & definitely worth the $7. Straight out of the box it will have kind of an alcohol smell to it. Don’t let that scare you off. Perfumes/colognes take a few days to acclimate to the climate after being shipped and the scent will change to how it’s supposed to be after 4-5 days. It’s odd but it happens with most fragrances. I’ve purchased this twice already & will probably purchase a third just to have a backup. I spray it more like a body spray due to it not lasting as long as the name brand real deal, but it’s the best dupe so far. ... show more
