If you have a deck that has to be replaced, this tool is a lifesaver. With very little effort, it pulls up boards without breaking your back. This is made solid, and will last a very long time. I was able to pull up the boards on my 24x16 deck in about an hour. Truly amazing.

Obviously better than a crowbar and hammer. Every board pullup was very easy with this. It is probably great to reclaim wood from pallets too, but it made MUCH Quicker work of pulling my deck boards up than the claw hammer and flat iron I used at first.

About a third of the way done with deck tear off and this has been a tremendous help. Works great. Long handle and prongs get good leverage to easily rip up even screwed down old deck boards.
