My wife actually uses this more for a work computer with a little gaming on the side. She loves that she is able to multitask because of how large the screen is and when gaming everything is so clear and crisp. Also the curved screen is elegant and nice.

So far so good, excellent color calibration out of the box. Not a fan of the XL bezel on the bottom, but the built in speakers are a nice-to-have, for my work rig. The stand is probably where the manufacturer skimped the most, it's usable, just not as adjustable as some others.

Pretty happy with this. I was worried about it not being a name brad - but it's actually a really great monitor. I wish I'd've upgraded to the wide monitor sooner.

Monitor itself is okay, but the stand it comes with is terrible. The stand takes up a lot of space and does not have good adjustments. Trying to get a different mount is even worse as nothing fits into the awkward slot they made for the original stand. It's supposed to be able to use a 100x100 VESA mount, but every single one is just a bit too large to fit inside the deep circular slot, you could maybe get away with getting some extra-long bolts from the hardware store to make one work, but we shouldn't have to do that. A new issue I had is that at some random point I unplugged my headphones and all of a sudden, the built-in speakers took a dump. Now it sounds like they're blown out and I have no idea why this happened, I've never had the speakers above 50% either, can't even reinstall the sound drivers to try to fix the problem as that changes nothing.

If you’re thinking of using this for work, working on Microsoft apps and reading emails, this is not the monitor for you. I tried for hours and hours to adjust the screen and finally gave up, all words are stretched out, wording was blurry and the screen height is extremely limited not allowing for enough of the document to be visible to work on.

I really wanted this to work because the size and specs are appealing, but overall the INNOCN 45C1R has been more trouble than it’s worth for my setup and the day-to-day experience has been frustrating enough that I can’t recommend it. 1) Stand/desk fit is a real problem. The stand footprint is very large and didn’t fit on the raised portion of my desk where my monitor needs to sit. If your desk has a shelf/raised back section, measure carefully. 2) Tilt adjustment feels backwards. Mine tilts upward, but doesn’t tilt downward, which makes it harder to dial in an ergonomic angle at a normal seated height. With a monitor this large, I expected more ergonomic adjustability. I don’t understand who the “upward-only” tilt is designed for unless you’re viewing it from above. 3) Reliability (Sleep/wake reconnect issues) (especially through a dock): The biggest issue has been intermittent reconnect problems after sleep—especially when connected through a docking station. After an overnight sleep, the monitor sometimes won’t re-register (screen stays off even though Windows still thinks the desktop is extended). The only consistent workaround for me has been using the monitor’s menu to toggle inputs (DP → HDMI → DP) to force it to re-detect / reconnect. I shouldn’t have to do that routinely. 4) Display scaling/warping on my system: On my Windows 10 laptop with integrated graphics, I’ve also run into times where scaling/desktop output didn’t look right (stretched/warped), and getting it stable took more troubleshooting than I expected for a monitor at this price, and getting a stable, correct setup takes way more time than it should. If you have a newer GPU and a direct connection, you may have a better experience, but for a common docked-laptop setup and typical desk ergonomics, this hasn’t been a smooth or reliable purchase for me. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to fully set this up in my new office until after the return window, so I’m stuck trying to make it work.
