  • Don't buy!
Size: 24 Inch
The monitors didn't even work. They froze the first 30 minutes of use. Super cheap and low quality. Don't waste your time and money with these Chinese companies. Buy American!

  • This monitor has no right to be as good as it is for the price!
Size: 32"-Mini LED-4K-144Hz
I bought this February 2023 and spent a year with it before I wrote this review. I am happy to report that with over a year of us this almost every day, I have had no real issues with it! I purchased this last year for under $600 on sale and bought it on a whim because the specs looked amazing for the price. I saw all the warning signs - no name Chinese brand, obscenely large size, HDR, specs like mini-led and wide color gamut at a price a third of what reputable brands. I figured if it turned out to be too good to be true, I could always return it with Amazon's generous 30 day return window. So far it has delivered on pretty much all of its promises without too much compromise. Firstly - the specs are all real and none of it are falsified. The first thing I noticed was the mini led. Blacks are true black because there is no backlight due to the 1152 lighting zones. I can't tell how many exact zone there are since I have no way of counting them except to say that they're there. I have never had an instance where I thought the image was improperly light which should say something about the effectiveness of the back lighting. HDR works fine but there are some times where auto HDR is not properly enabled or disabled and it requires me to manually turn it on and off in the menus. The color accuracy is also not something I can clinically test but from my eye as a photo editor it is not oversaturated like many monitors are in order to give off the impression of a wide color gamut. During my time editing photos I never saw the colors lacking which leads me to believe it is a wide-color gamut monitor but can't say to which degree. The 144hz refresh rate is also an awesome addition. While gaming, every game does take advantage of the Freesync and max out at 144hz and the motion is smooth and crisp. It is noticeably smoother than 60hz and every application that utilizes high refresh rates shows it accurately and nothing leads me to believe anything otherwise. The only few critiques I can say is that the software is not amazing. I mentioned above that the auto HDR is not always correctly addressed and requires manual toggling in the menus sometimes. This is not an everyday occurrence though but it does happen more than I'd like. Speaking of software, the OSD menus are fairly sparse and the navigation is done by 4 buttons which are often confusing since they are overused as multi-functions. The buttons were placed at the bottom like very generic old monitors. A joystick navigations like many companies use currently would have been a welcomed change, especially for monitors with complicated options and menus such as this one. Waking this monitor from sleep and getting into the OSD menus for Input is often frustratingly slow. Many times when I plug in a laptop from USBC it takes several minutes for the monitor and laptop to make a solid handshake connection and for the monitor to recognize which input port is being used. It would be much easier if I can just go into the OSD menu to switch to the right port but frustratingly the OSD never pops up when the monitor is in sleep. Turning the monitor on and off is also very slow and takes quite a while. I feel much of this can be remedied with firmware and software updates but for over a year I've checked and there are none. Innocn's website is sparse and there are no updates for this monitor. I've asked via email and they have replied saying there are none. Finally the design of the monitor is fairly basic (which I like) but the silver color and finishing does look and feel cheap. I think they could have used a matte black and it would have been a much stronger and less-eye catching choice. The bezels are surprisingly thin and the monitor thankfully lacks a lot of the gaudy RGB LED lights that many gaming monitors have. It's also got a generous amount of input ports from HDMI 2.1 and Displayport 1.4 for high-bandwidth high resolution and high frame rate transmission. It even has USBC with 90w power delivery so you can charge your laptop and devices while plugged in. The one issue I found when using USBC is that at 4k you are limited to only 120hz instead of 144 using HDR. This is likely a limitation of the USBC specification and not the monitor as my laptop is capable of higher bandwidth. Overall there is not terribly much to complain about his monitor. I fully expected outright lies about the specs or compromises for this off-brand monitor at discount prices. However I was glad I was proven wrong. I have had no dead pixels or any other obvious performance issues otherwise. I would like to see some firmware updates in the future but that has yet to be seen. I would confidently recommend this monitor! ... show more

  • Excellent Gaming Monitor
Size: 32"-Mini LED-4K-144Hz
INNOCN 32" Mini LED 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 This monitor lives up to it's advertised specs: 4K at 144hz with a quality DisplayPort cable and HDR10. For gaming and movies, this thing is great. The HDR10 helps greatly in dark environments instead of looking at a blob of black; you can distinguish things much better with HDR than without. The brightness (nits?) can be crazy high: I had to turn this down b/c when I looked at the sun in several games, it was almost like looking at the real thing....blinding. (Easy to adjust, btw) The colors are bright and vibrant; blacks are very black (though, not as great as an OLED) with some minor bleeding. I'm not a monitor snob, so I can't really compare technical details to other monitors, but this 32in INNOCN is by far one of the best in it's class and I've had a number of good ASUS, Acer and Dell 'gaming' monitors. Refresh rate is great so long as your graphics card can handle it, which means the blurring is significantly reduced. Various monitor settings will help with the lag and blur. Overall I'm very happy with this. Some minor issues to point out: The blooming effect is very noticeable when viewing at an angle, but greatly reduced when looking dead on (as you should be if you're gaming or watching movies); which leads to the next possible issue for some: the viewing angle is really bad. If you plan on having this screen far away or watch at an angle, it's not going to work well. You must be in front and center, and be a few feet away at the most, otherwise the picture will look bad. This issue seems common with this type of tech, unfortunately. Also, Windows does not recognize it as 'G-sync compatible'; not a big deal to me, but your needs may differ. ... show more
