Raspberry pi 4 takes a little bit to get it to fill the entire screen, but once it does the touch screen is responsive, the display is sharp for it's size, and it works well.

Brightness is good. Worked immediately with Raspberry Pi 5 and Ubuntu. Resolution is pretty decent. Light bleeds thru the blacks pretty heavily and uneven so maybe not so good for dark desktop but looks great otherwise and that doesn't bother me for the price. Cables included with micro HDMI adapter but they are so stiff they are awkward sticking out everywhere. I ordered ribbon cables for HDMI and USB with right angle adapters for a few bucks and they tuck out of the way behind the monitor completely (I have Pi mounted on aluminum plate behind monitor). I am able to power the monitor from the Raspberry port but I'm probably pushing it. Plastic stand it comes with is worthless imo but not a factor. Control buttons on side easily accessible although navigating menu is annoying (as with all similar products). Quality looks and feels decent. Touchscreen required no drivers and works well. Ribbon cable for display wraps around the edge of the unit so I suggest some caution there if it's not housed in protective cover or mount. 1024x600 a little odd but seems to accommodate Ubuntu reasonably, only a few pages had cutoff buttons, etc. I would consider buying again ... show more

These screens are awesome. I used my for mining crypto currency and these works awesome for what I'm doing . I bought a few different screens to see what one was the best because I need a total of 21 screens so I wanted to make sure I got the best . And these are the best. I did have a small issue with them and their customer service was the best they fixed the issue and I had a new one in 1 day . Customer service was 💯 and the product is great ... show more

I use this as an internal third monitor for the new PC I built. I use AIDA64 for the system monitoring dashboard, ran an HDMI cable into the case and a USB header cable for power. I attached it internally to the glass using clear double sided tape. Very easy to use, simply plug in and it turns on when it detects an HDMI signal. ... show more

I initially purchased this screen for an in-case sensor display. The short HDMI and USB cables made that work pretty well, but I had a hard time fitting due to the stand-off pegs on the back of this display. After altering my fan configuration, I just couldn't find a good way to get this thing mounted in the case, so I ended up using it on the desktop for the same purpose. There seems to be no cases available commercially for this screen (or at least I couldn't find one) so I had to design and print a stand for it that looked better than the little stand it came with (which I hate). The screen seems to work ok, though I do not have the touchscreen enabled (not needed). My primary gripe is that whenever I have this screen plugged in via HDMI to my computer, I get random screen resets on my other monitors - this is being driven by an RTX 3070. I have no issues with my monitors when this screen is unplugged, so I feel like there is some conflict that this screen causes. Having had this experience, I cannot really recommend this screen because it is a major annoyance that I wouldn't wish on anyone. ... show more

Before I complain, let me open with this is a good little screen. It's sharp and bright. I have it at 50% brightness and that's just right. The triangle stand is also pretty neat. It's a cheap piece of plastic, but it works well. I like it. The screen also comes with USB and HDMI cables. And a HDMI to micro HMDI adapter. They didn't need to do that, so that's icing on the cake. Based on my shopping the screen is also a little cheaper than a lot of the 7" pi screens. All good. My two nit-picky complaints: The pictured stand is black. The screen shipped with a white stand. Also more importantly, the screen is not centered horizontally or vertically in the case. It all looks and feels well put together, so the (very) off center positioning is kind of odd. A little annoying but I can get over it. ... show more
