Was a little disappointed that I had to drill my own holes in the shelves, also a few of the anchors didn't hold up when inserting them, so minus one star. Other than that I really like these shelves. Happy I can across these cuz they have the depth I was looking for to put my albums on.

I love this!! I just installed it this morning..Very sturdy...I had to notch it in the back to accomadate the cables..looks great.. fyi..I used a 7/32 drill bit for the wall anchors..

This is currently the third set of these shelves that I have bought. They are very easy to put together, and to install on a wall. The shelves do not have pre drilled holes, so you must take that into account and either have a drill or able to get one.

This is a great wall shelf for the most part. I'm not sure if it will hold 40lbs, but it will definitely hold over 20lbs & works well for my DOOM statue. I was able to get it into 2 studs- one on each side, but it wasn't east. I wish the holes were an even 16 inches apart, but it worked regardless.

The instructions for this product are terrible, right off the bat it says to attach the brackets to the shelves, however there's no pre-drilled holes, so you better have a drill and hope you line it up right, which I managed to do. Also, there seem to be more parts than needed in the box, so it's unclear what's what. Now it tells you to measure and drill holes in your wall to match the size of the "expansion tubes", what size drill? Well, I guess that's for me to figure out again, but after starting small and working my way up I got them to fit in the sheetrock pretty well. Time to mount the shelves it says using the long wood screws, but after trying to put something on them, they fall, looks like those expansion tubes have no thread. Maybe I messed up, but instructions were no help, starting with the fact I had to drill my own holes just to mount brackets to the shelf, which seems like it should've been done at the factory. ... show more
