  • A Large, Stable Floater
This has fast become my favorite floater in our 18' round above ground pool because it's stable and wide, allowing me to climb up relatively easily from the water without it flipping. Once on the floater I can flip over, againgwithout flipping the floater itself. The side immersed in the water is great on a hot day, and the two of us are able to float around together with plenty of room. I would definitely recommend a compressor to inflate it, though it was quicker than many floaters that have a lot of angles or secondary sections. I have refilled it once since putting it in the pool a few weeks ago, which I did from the side of the pool while it was still in the water - the nozzle is conveniently on the side and not underneath. The little pop up pillow is perhaps the weakest part of it, but I rest my chin on it when on my stomach so I can gaze into the pool, but I avoid the pillow while on my back. Otherwise, really a great addition to our pool! ... show more

  • Large pool float for lounging and sunbathing
This is a wonderful large float that we use for relaxing in the sun. When used alone, one side is great for laying on your back and being cooled by the water and the other side is great for laying face down and getting some sun on your back. There is a cup holder which works great for a 12oz can but the big tumblers we like will just not stand up in it, but it is the standard size you'd expect. The inflation valve is large and has two plugs. Open the first to reveal the valve that keeps air in but allows inflation. Open the second and you can quickly inflate or deflate the float. The valve is large but I have several attachments for my inflater and one worked well. ... show more

  • Not bad! More toy than raft, but a really good toy.
This is a great flotation pool toy. It’s pretty good at holding up an adult in the water. But don’t try to use it as a canoe, unless you want to get wet! Lol! I like the mesh platform. You could use it to keep a cooler on, since it will sit just below the water but still float. The title implies that it's 5' 11'' tall and wide, but it seems like it's more likely 5' 8 or 9". And it's comfy. It doesn't feel flimsy, but it doesn't have an "industrial strength" feel, and I think that adds to the resting comfort. I'd recommend this. If you're taking it to a pool may want to make sure the pool isn't packed, since it does use a lot of space, but if you're taking it to a lake or large pond, please wear a life jacket. It's not a raft, but yeah, laying on it works. But if you get too close to the edge, it may dump you off! ... show more

  • Big!
This pool float is great! It is very big and feels durable enough to last my kids jumping on and off of it. I do not have a pool, but I plan on taking this to our local beach that we go to many times each summer. As long as you have a pump, it fills up fairly quickly so it is easy to bring deflated and fill it up on the beach before using it. ... show more

  • 6 foot square. HYUGE!! Going to throw a tarp over the open zone, make this a floating "hot" tub
If you're planning on blowing this up WITHOUT an air pump....you're gonna pass out...lol. This thing is huge. Great build, and i will seal the open area to create a self-contained "hot tub"...using the florida sun. At the $40 current price, this is a good value for the size. Our family normally gets 2 seasons out of one of these floats. It did come with a pair of patches. Side note: our family is rough on floats...lol. This is very stable due to it's immense size. Update: (last picture) i added a 7x5 ft tarp, filled with it's own water. Should be @100 degree hot tub with Florida's sun as the heat source. Small contained area should heat up fast vs the entire pool. ... show more

  • Nice float!
This is a nice float for the pool or lake. We use it in our lake and my grandkids love it. I can lay out on the float part or lay in the mess to get cooled off. It seems to be good quality. My grandkids have jumped constantly on it. It was reasonably price.

  • It broke after 1 day....(updated review) Huge! Big enough for 2 people facing echother
****************new 1 star review**************** 2 days ago (Tuesday) we blew up the floatie with air. It worked great. I laid on the "above water" side for about 30 mins (I weigh 100 lbs; 5'6"). I had no jewelry on nor any hardware on my bathing suit. Nobody else went on it. We left it in the pool under the pool cover (which, very lightly floats atop the water to try to trap eat in) at about 6:15 pm. Yesterday (Wednesday) we went down to the pool around 4 pm and it was floating under the pool cover, where we left it, almost completely deflated. "Oh no!!" We pulled it out and put it aside. It was on smooth concrete in the corner folded up into a big huge square 1/4 full of air (that is a guess). To properly fill it up, we needed a special nozzle for the air compressor to be able to use it optimally-- we thought "oh, well maybe we did not fill it up all the way or maybe we left the entry point a tiny bit open..". We were unwilling to accept that our new floatie was no more!! So my husband Amazon Primed the needed nozzle. It arrived overnight, today (Thursday). We went down to the pool (at about 4) and it was now completely deflated-- flat, as if it had never been inflated, in the shade, where we left it. SO: husband filled it up, not too much, not too little. Just right. I floated on it again- on the side that is above water. It was fine then slowly the ship stated taking on water...I felt the little pillow deflate first. Then my ship started taking on water under my head, then there was water under my back (note that when filled I float completely above the water totally dry. Literally I could wear clothes and not get wet). I was getting wet as the ship rapidly took on water. I paddled over to the steps to get out and when my left arm put some pressure on the upper left corner I heard a leak "shhhhhhh." I stopped and started a few times to make sure. Yup. Definitely a leak of some kind. Sigh. We took the floatie half out of the pool (photo 5 mins after I got out you can see it laying there and how much "squish" there was). Within 10? 15 mins it was completely deflated. Flat..again...as if it had never been filled. The other photo is me pointing at the general location where I was certain at least one "shhhhh" sound was coming from. SO: my very best guess (given the rapid loss of air and the fact that no water gets INTO the floatie, it only loses air).......there is more than one leak. I looked everywhere for a hole or a rip. There wasn't one that could be seen with the naked eye. There is a seam, though, that runs around the entire edge of the floatie attaching the bottom half to the top half. My best guess is that seam is not sewn/glued/attached in a full water-tight way. I posted a photo pointing at the location of the "shhhh" sound. I did not test every part of it. There may have been many such locations. But for sure there was one. SO SAD!!! I loved that floatie even though I only knew it for a couple of days!! I was excited to float and have conversations with my sister of husband or daughter when she comes over-- it has such a great design with the way people face each other. I am afraid I don't think this is well made. It is possible that we just got a bad one, for sure. But I would look at as many reviews as you have time for and make sure this is an anomaly and not a pattern. [sad face] ****************original 5 star review**************** I finally had a chance to fill up the blue floatie for my pool! I didn't have an ordinary pump like every other human probably has. The instructions said to make a funnel with a piece of paper and then use a hair dryer to fill it up with air. That worked!! And then at the end I think we needed something with more contact to the air hole and my husband pulled out a "compressor" and used that to finish it off. So for us it was a bit of a pain to blow up (only one inflation hole, by the way) but I am sure for most people it would be a 5-star experience. I laid on the side that is not in the water (1/2 is a sling into the water; the other half is a completely above water floatie). I hung out on the dry side (the pool was still warming up today-- it is too cold for me to get fully in...I got 1/2 in and floated on my new floatie). It was totally sturdy enough for 1 person and also didn't tip over. 2 people will weigh it down a little but I weighed it down almost zero! so we will see how submerged it gets- I predict it doesn't drop down much at all because the other side is a sling that is already IN the water so the person will pull down on he floatie a little but not much. It is not the thickest plastic in the world. I was comparing it to some other floatie furniture we have and it is probably in the "kid quality" category. Hopefully it will last through the summer, maybe next summer. If it lasts longer than that I will be extremely happy and very impressed. oh! and the cutest thing is that the pillow for each person's head is on opposing ends so you are meant to lay down facing each other (not side by side laying in the same direction) with each of you in the opposite position as the other. Great for conversations and fun with close others. There was one cup holder in it, too (I don't think there were 2). ... show more
