Edit 8/4/21 - the pool is holding up well. The plastic tube at the drain hole that I thought would help drain the water easier makes it worse. The weight of the water had compressed the tube down to almost flat, so it hardly drains from there. Not a dealbreaker though, I just deflate the edges a bit, and press on the sides to make the water overflow over the top. Original post - We put this pool up yesterday, on a tarp to help protect the bottom from punctures. So far everything is working great. The pool is not very deep, but is large enough to fit a bunch of kids for splashing, as you can see in the photo - mini pool party! It is long enough for adults to lay down and float lengthwise, I’d guess maybe 6.5’ inner dimensions. Inflation was easy with an air pump, took maybe a minute for each of the three sections. On the bottom of the pool is a valve you can open to drain the pool. We’ve had pools like this before, but this is the first of this brand. Unlike others, it has a plastic tube coming out of the hole on the bottom, so I think it will drain easier rather than getting water trapped underneath. The material seems a little thicker than those you buy in the store, so it will likely last longer. We’ve already had kids bouncing and pushing on the sides, so durability will definitely be tested here. I really like the wavy bubble design on the outside also. There’s no way to filter the water, so it needs to be changed out and cleaned out regularly. Not too difficult with this size pool, it took less than an hour to fill. We have a chlorine floater from another pool that I tossed in there, so that may help lengthen the amount of time between changes. The only bummer I see with it is that the water fill line is only 3/4 of the way up the middle section, so you can’t fill water as high as you’d first think, only a foot or so. If you choose to fill it higher (which we have…) the sides begin to bulge out. That’s pretty standard with these types of pools though. Other options - this would be great to use as a ball pit, or a cozy nest for kids to put blankets and pillows in for a movie night, or a safe space for little babies instead of a standard playpen.

This pool is strong, well designed, large and worth the cost. We bought this to replace the one we had that no longer held air in the top chamber. We usually bought cheaper, smaller inflatable pools. They don’t last more than the one summer we use them. This one is new. So I can’t comment on the durability YET. I will say that I noticed how strong the walls are on this pool. My two 7 year old boys asked me to put more water in it. They wanted it past the recommended fill line. So, I put more water in. I left while the hose was filling and came back later and it was almost over filling. I don’t recommend doing this. It’s not good for the pool. What I will say is the pool walls are so strong that while the pool started to bow outward on the long side walls it didn’t break. It held the extra water. When we saw that we let the extra water out to make it safe to play in again. The size is perfect for my 7 year old boys. They’ve been jumping in and splashing in these record breaking hot days in the Pacific Northwest for several hours at a time. We followed the manufacturer’s recommendations and put the pool on top of a tarp on a level spot on the grass. We also like the drain tube. There’s a small plastic pipe connected to the drain to help the flow of water. This is much better than to simply have a hole at the bottom and have all the water release in the same spot with no air space to improve the drainage. We are ver my happy with this purchase. It’s strong for our boys. It’s big and designed well. It’s better to buy a quality product like this rather than go on the cheap and have a smaller poorly designed pool you’ll throw out at the end of summer.

Definitely Worth the price!! I bought this pool to replace a similar one that I purchased last year at a local big box store.. Some type of animal must have gotten to it because, their were rips all along the sides when we woke up one morning.. needed a quick replacement , with the nice weather coming my kids were very upset.. after reading many reviews and shopping around, I ultimately decided on this one.. we live in a heavily wooded area , and get many animals in our back yard, they like to drink from the pool at night, and I really was looking to save money, by not having to replace it again next year, so I needed something that would last!! very happy that I made this decision.. this pool surpassed my expectations and more.. right of the box I could tell that it was made to last. This pool is 10 times more durable than the one that it replaced, very thick and strong material - I am confident that it can withstand the sharp claws of any animal that goes near it.. it was also very easy to inflate and set up.. and it stays fully inflated for a good week.. has a good seal to keep in the air. Overall very pleased with this pool. Highly recommended
