    • I'm sure there's better boards out there but this is a very good board for my needs
My niece and her husband have been paddle boarding for a couple years now. After talking my sister into doing it they talked me into it as well. Their boards are much heavier than this one, not sure if that's good or bad. For me it's actually bad. I have several small ponds around here that I will have to hike to. With everything loaded into the storage bag (which is also a backpack) it's pretty heavy. I also have a battery powered pump. I'm not sure hiking a half mile up a hill on a narrow trail would be fun if it was heavier. This kit comes with everything but a life vest. The image shows two paddles but mine only came with one. It can be switched from a single blade to two by simply sliding out the handle section of the paddle and sliding in the second blade. I'm not sure why I would want two paddles. The paddle is a bit on the heavy side but not bad. It's too early to use it so I don't know if it floats. The board itself is the standard length and width. With 14 psi it easily held my 200lb body. It didn't feel squishy at all. The fins slide into place without a lot of effort and they look like Amazon sells plenty of replacements that attach the same way. The kit includes a hand pump and a patch kit. If your looking to try out paddle boarding this would be a good kit. ... show more

    • Nice kit
This is a good standard size board, and a decent value with the full kit including pump. It has everything you need except a life jacket to get you up and running (well, standing) with paddleboarding. Like any other, the manual pump works but does take a moderate amount of effort to get it up to the full 12-15 PSI. The handles are all double-lined and comfortable, and the deck grip is the standard EVA that works just fine even when wet. The paddle is a 3-piece snap-together thing that isn't the most rigid, so I will probably be shopping for a proper one-piece paddle soon. But it works for now. The included "backpack" is huge, a big rectangle with probably double the volume you actually need, but that does make it easy to pack up with all the accessories. There are backpack straps on it which makes it easier to carry, though its size makes it looks a bit goofy (but who cares about that). ... show more

This is a good beginner paddleboard. It has all the basic items and comes with a bag to carry them. The board does not have extra d-rings for other storage or mounting the leash but you can use the handle in the back. It has 3 fins and feels solid as a rock. I inflated it for the past 2 days and it didn't leak or lose any pressure. The entire kit is great it has the leash and the pump also. So overall its a great package but for the same price I have seen several with camera mounts and d-rings that are very useful while out on the water for a while. The paddle also comes with a second paddle to combine and make it more like a kayak. It still has no way to mount a seat but it would work for short times. Overall I would say this one is nice but if it was on a sale or discount I would recommend it more. ... show more

Only two things to criticize with this awesome paddle board. 1. There is a horrible chemical smell when you deflate the board. Hopefully this will dissipate over time and use. Avoid deflating it inside your dwelling! 2. Some boards have more bungie nets for storage. If you want to attach a kayak style seat you won't have any attachment points. It's a wide and stable board, slower but steady! The pump is nicer than expected. It's a dual action pump until you switch it over to single action mode when it starts to get full. The paddle is also better than expected. It allows for two modes. Stand up and kayak mode. I love this option! This folds up wonderfully. Picked up this SMUG paddle board for some casual lake use, and it’s been better than I figured. It inflated fast, felt stable right away, and held air solid after a couple hours out. The material is thick and feels like it’ll hold up to scrapes and drag, which is more than I expected at this price. The pump works alright—nothing fancy, but it gets it done. Paddle’s adjustable and doesn’t slip, fins stayed locked in tight. I didn’t even think I’d use the dry bag or leash, but both are fine. The backpack it comes with isn’t flimsy either, which was a surprise. On the water it’s steady, tracked straight without veering, and didn’t flex much under weight. It’s wide enough for standing and paddling around casually without feeling like you’re gonna tip. No real complaints here. For something this cheap, it feels reliable. ... show more

These work great out on the lake. It is portable and easy to carry around, plus it comes with everything you need to be paddling in about 10 minutes. I highly recommend it.

I own two other SUPs and right out of the box I could tell this company (SMUG) designed this SUP for durability, maneuverability, and many hours on the water! This comes complete with repair kit patches, adhesive, and floating tube. The company also included a waterproof phone case, pump, adjustable blade, ankle leash, detachable but lock in place fins, and a carrying case (which is a huge bonus)! At only about 25lbs, this SUP is lightweight yet strong. Able to hold two people (up to 350lbs), now everyone in the family can be on the water together. The anti slip surface comes complete with bungee stow and the quick connect valve system should work well with my automatic battery pump. At almost 33" wide and 10.5 feet long, this sleek design will bring years of fun! ... show more

This SUP made by SMUG is a great paddle board. It has a perfect width at 33" and about 10.5' long. This provides a nice stable surface to stand on. The included fins help stabilize the board and makes it easier to keep your balance. The included single paddle for standing is nice, and the additional double ended paddle that was included is a great addition for sitting down and paddling like a kayak.
