I got this SUP for my husband. He used this new one yesterday and really liked it. The hand pump is great and no issues with the guage. He says he likes the handle on the back as he was using it to try another way to get on in deeper water. He says it's great for him.

We now have 3 inflatable paddleboards, a lot more fiberglass/composite surfboards and wakeboards, and I've rented plenty of other SUPs while traveling. This is a great, and REALLY complete kit. We tend to prefer the longer ones... 11ft+ because we're giants. If you're big, you're going to want the bigger boards as it's more stability. If anyone is wondering whether inflatables hold, yeah, they're pretty hefty. It's not impossible for it to get a leak, but our first 2 are 0 leaks over 4+ years each. The materials they make it with nowadays are much better. And the pressure on a paddle board is very different from the pressure on a surf board. I wouldn't drop in on Mavericks [surf break] on an inflatable, but growing up surfing, these are way better than I expected them to be. They're not like pool floaties. It's REALLY tough material. Only thing it doesn't have is a electric pump. Let's be honest... an 11ft board at 15 PSI is something like 800 liters of air. If you're only doing 20 LPM, that's 40 minutes to fill it up. So get a high PSI, high LPM pump. I'm not faulting them for this... it's basic physics. Just saying you can use the manual pump, but you're not going to want to. (side note: getting only a 10ft board doesn't reduce the wait times by much) So overall, yes, I approve. ... show more
