I got this after seeing a friend with a different (and much more expensive) brand. After some comparison, I landed on this brand and could not be happier. The kids love running across it in the river. It is holding up well to adult use as well. We got the 6x10 mat and feel it is pretty good. The 4 inch thickness is great for floating next to it and using it like a bar. It easily held my wife, our 2 dogs, cooler, and my self without a problem. We were able to sit on the edges with our feet in without swamping the mat like the foam mats do. What we didn't like was the very cheap bag and hand pump. In addition I have no idea what the max pressure should be. We settled on 8lbs and were able to achieve that with the electric pump we had for our paddle boards. Each mat really should have its pressure range stamped on it or at least come with instructions that give the recommended pressure for the size. The description gives minimum and maximum pressures for the entire range of sizes and basically says to guess what you need. The metal hooks seem decent to tie to, I don't have much faith in the handles as they don't feel like they would handle much stress. For the price, from what I can see looking at others, it's a good mat. Just be aware of the few issues I noted. ... show more

We have a boat that does not have room for the roll up Lilly pads so we bought the 6x8 inflatable. The kids love it and can both stand up on it. It stores away in a bag and we can put it in our small cabin. We will probably purchase a second or bigger on next season.
