Love this table! It arrived mostly preassembled, all you need to do is attach the legs, super easy! It looks great and was shipped in adequate packaging (unlike most furniture I've purchased through Amazon which always comes damaged one way or another) so it arrived in perfect condition. The finish is nice and shiny and the side shelves are great accents. The top is also surprisingly easy to open and close and is a perfect height for eating on or doing work when sitting on the couch. As a whole the table is very sturdy and well made, it's solid and heavy enough to eat off of when fully extended but I would still advise some caution when doing so. Too much weight will still tip the table over so be mindful when eating. Elbows off the table! XD

The first two weee damaged but the 2rd one was great. This is a beautiful and functional coffee table. I liked it so much that I ordered the matching end table / night stand with 2 drawers. I like the length of the coffee table and the ease in which the top opens up as well as the side storage areas of the coffee table. Plenty of room inside table for storage too. I recommend this table.

Like the other reviewer, I was concerned if the lift top was going to be sturdy enough to eat or do work on - it is. I was in the market for one of these and there are ones that costs $150+, which do the same thing, but they don't have the same quality of sturdiness and beauty. If you're in it for the long haul, get one of these.

First one came damaged on a corner so be sure to open and check it upon arrival. Replacement sent promptly and received in days, perfectly. Piece is better than expected, quality made. perfect for couch sitting with a laptop, lifts up exactly to elbows and gives ample knee room. Locks perfectly, doesn't wobble during use. I really enjoy the look of it in the room. It is mixed with contemporary and traditional furniture and looks great.

Everyone comments on it and then I show them it is also a dining room table. Very sturdy but was super heavy to bring in from delivery which I guess is why it is very sturdy. I eat on it for dinner every night fits two easy.

5 stars for ease of assembly, looks, feel and price. I have been looking for a table like this and they have all been over $1,000. I wasn't expecting this to be nice, but it is really sturdy and beautiful. I can't wait for my new couch to come so I can enjoy it all.

This is a great looking coffee table! And sturdy! I love it! But it arrived damaged! Many other people have this problem. Mine had a huge crack on the top and a bottom end completely broken off…unfortunately, there are no more to exchange with…but if they come back in stock…BUYER BEWARE.

No shipping issues or damages at all! Incredible build quality. Heavy as hell and I've gotten countless compliments on it. Do yourself a favor and don't skimp on a cheap store bought lift-top.
