My dumb self didn't read the dimensions. These are a good size if you have special needs loved one to eat over, or for tiny dogs to potty on. They are not big enough to lay someone on though so find bigger ones for that. They are great at fluid retention though as they are what we use for my chi for nighttime potties. Small pads are thin but surprisingly absorbent. Not what I expected but hey for 300 pads and $35, good purchase. I’m laying them on top of a large pad from Target. They have the fantastic XL pads 100 for $27. (these are definitely not thick pads. All as some buyers said, they must be talking about something else, but the small blue ones are flimsy.). They will not work for me as I tried them for the nine puppies I have which are not trained yet, and they get messed up easily, not being used well. Since they are absorbent theymay be helpful if you have a small pet that is trained for changing a newborn ... show more

This pad is honestly a terrible product. Compared to the dog pads from Costco, it's only about half the size, and the blue plastic border is much wider, leaving even less absorbent area. It's also very thin. If you're training a puppy to use pee pads, you're much better off getting a Sam's Club or Costco membership and buying their pads instead. The biggest problem is the absorbency. When a dog first pees on it, the wet spot looks small, but as time passes, that small spot spreads into a much larger area and can eventually soak most of the pad. With Costco's pads, a wet spot stays about the same size throughout the day instead of continuing to spread. I only bought these as an emergency replacement because Costco is too far away for me. I would not recommend them to anyone planning to use pee pads regularly or in large quantities. ... show more

Rather thin, and limited absorption capacity. The pee will puddle and take a while slowly fill up the pad. The downside -- I cannot remove the pad while there is a pool of pee on the pad. My dog is a 20 lb dog, and personally I will not buy this again. It may be adequate for smaller dogs. Also, the borders are quite wide. So the actual absorbent area is quite a bit smaller than the measurements published. On the positive side: good consistent construction -- all the pads that we used were well constructed, and within the parameters of the product, the quality was very consistent. ... show more
