I read the reviews and was able to get the right size. I'm a 8.5 generally and got the same size or 9. And they work well with thin or thick socks, so I'm pleased. I didn't have tools or a shop near me to adjust them so after making sure they were the correct size, I bought some tools online to loosen the wheels and make these wear-able. I didn't go for a too fancy color as I'm still learning and these will get beat up a good bit. Good starter skate.

The color is beautiful and I got compliments. The closest size available was my normal size 6. However, I found it gave me blisters after a few hours skating. I realized the toe area is pretty narrow and so I got another color in a size 7 and it feels much better. I have wide feet, so I should’ve thought of that. I’ll just let my daughter wear the size 6 ones as her feet are slightly smaller and narrower than mine.

First off, I'm a male and i bought these for myself. I got size 11..i usually wear a 9 1/2 -10 shoe. The 11s are snug, but they fit! Im new to roller skating but found these skates to be better than rentals youd get at a rink. I practiced with these in my apartment a few times then went to the rink. I was rolling around like i was doing for years. My friends that saw me skate the first time, then saw me skate again were shocked. They are also a popular skate. I see a lot of people at the rink wearing them. Great skates for a beginner and super cute too.

The media could not be loaded. These roller skates are like wearing a Masterpiece of Art! They have so far surpassed any idea's or expectations one may have had prior to receiving them ... the photo and video do not do them justice ... the first time they were put on was at night and when the street lights would hit the skate the iridescent colors made them come completely alive ... I almost wanted to take them off not to scratch them or dirty them or ruin them in anyway ... but of course, they have been worn a few times now and every time you use something it becomes less and less of what you have first experienced ... but the first experience of these will last the rest of my days. It was a moment in time that left a lasting impression of Fantasiticness in my person, which is very rare! As you can see the wheels have been changed ... usually the wheels that come with skates are not very good however that was not the case with these ... I had ordered the wheels at the same time as the skates and although I had them here ... I tried the skates out the first time with the original wheels and they are very good wheels ... not as good as these Atom Skates Pulse Outdoor Quad Roller Wheels 78A, but certainly a quality wheel. In fact, these Atoms did not fit the skates I had prior and so there was concern they wouldn't fit these because they are so tall but they do! Whew! and Yay ... because they make the skate so fast I am nearly scared to be in them! The boot of the skate is very comfortable ... it does seem that it is for a narrow foot because there is a bit of discomfort at the palm of the foot where the toes are ... it kind of crunches in on the sides ... but am hoping that they loosen up but even if they don't it is not so uncomfortable that one would not keep them. Really there are only good things to say about this skate! I am so extremely pleased! The boot itself has so much ankle support it is basically like an ice skate and makes the legs feel safe and strong. The stopper probably will not last long it's already starting to disappear ... but even still this is a very well designed skate. It really is like one is wearing something magical and certainly beautiful and it seems that most of the eyes that are laid upon them ... are pleased by looking at them. So that is nice to bring pleasure to others with no effort to do so. I would say these are an intermediate skate (especially with the wheel upgrade) but I don't know that much about skates ... if these had been my beginning skate I probably would have had a lot more injuries ... not that they are dangerous but one needs to know their own ability and limitations and sometimes there is a long and intense learning curve to be had before getting there. I love these skates already ... that is so rare in my person and they just showed up on my screen I wasn't even looking for them ... whoever designed these ... thank you so much ... you have a beautiful and creative and crafty/skillful mind. (Update: The issue with the sides of the foot becoming tender from the narrowness as been remedied by inserting (which can be acquired through Amazon is the Dr. Scholl's RUNNING Insoles // Reduce Shock and Prevent Common Running Injuries: Runner's Knee, Plantar Fasciitis and Shin Splints (for Women) putting this insole into the skate (it is a very thin insole) has made them perfect! And it shock absorbs quite a bit of friction!) I love this skate!

Roller Skates just got delivered and it arrived earlier then the actual delivery date, I opened the soon I got home, tried them on I was a little disappointed the inside doesn’t have that munch cushioning they are hard inside it hurts the side of my toes which makes it uncomfortable I don’t know if anyone had that same issue it’s not comfortable at all.. hope if will be once I stretch them out. All so, one of the skate came with a tiny scratch which is the black spot

Depending on how you plan to use these and what sort of skating you'll be doing, these are a pretty decent beginner skates. They are good for indoor and outdoor, and they got the job done for me until they started breaking after a few months. The boot is glued together and came apart at the heel, which was a critical issue and eventually led to me replacing them. The plate is a cast aluminum that is sturdy but heavy. Foot and leg fatigue is real with these skates after an hour or two of skating. The plate isn't sized right for the boot either, with the front wheels being 3/4 of an inch too far forward from the ball of the foot and the back wheels being too far back, making manuals and spins a bit harder. The toe stop is just a basic, fixed toe stop, and the kingpins (10°ish) have two cushions each from a similar material as the toe stop. The wheels are soft enough for outdoor and can work indoors as well. The roll of the wheels and bearings is decent, and probably enough for most beginners. The boot is snug without being super stiff and has a comfy insole. Unfortunately, it was not secured to the heel well and separated on both of my skates when strained on the edges, like from doing bubbles. I would only recommend this for someone with a budget of $100 or less who wants a pair of beginner skates that are good for indoor or outdoor, but are not looking to use them more than a couple of times per month and don't plan to get seriously into skating. Otherwise, I think other brands offer skates at a similar price point with fewer cut ends.
