This is my second review, deleted the first because they reached out to me asking for a second chance and sent a new unit to me. This one appears to have better resolution. It is a kids camera and if you display a photo on a large monitor it will be grainy. The photos that accompany the product offering appear way nicer than reality. Again, a kids camera. The build quality seems really good and having the waterproof case and silicone protector/easy hand holding is really a thoughtful addition. I think it would take a concerted effort to break the camera when surrounded by those items. As with most non-USA products the manual takes a bit to understand, I never understand why they do not employ an English speaker to re-write what they have attempted to convey. Conclusion-Is it worth the price, Yes. Definitely needs adult assistance for initial operation. Age group? 3 to 5, it teaches them the basics. Older than that, get them a camera with way better resolution if you can afford it ($250 + range). ... show more

I bought my 6 year old twin granddaughter’s a pink and blue waterproof camera. Their Dad always uses a go pro to film his sporting activities so I figured he could teach them how to use it. Now my daughter has to limit their use time because they love it and want to film everything. The girls told me it was their favorite present they received, even better than all of Santa’s presents! That made me very happy…my daughter a little jealous😂 This camera is very much like a go pro. The media could not be loaded. We live on the east coast of Florida so we spend a lot of time in our pool and at the beach. We wanted a camera that we could just hand to the kids and not be too worried about what happens to it. So we bought this one. First thing I would say is that I love how complete this kit is. You don't have to buy anything else. It comes with the microSD card and even an adapter to plug into your computer. The kids really like the buttons on the top that allow you to instantly go to the photo or video taking modes. Flipping the camera up for selfies has been easier for my youngest compared to having to change settings like on a phone. So we took it to the beach and buried it in the sand (probably should have taken beach pictures before that) and then when we got home we washed off the water proof case with a hose and we were ready to take pictures in the pool. At the pool we did the float test and was glad to see it passed. Then we dunked it in the pool to take pictures and actually felt like somehow it took better pictures underwater than above water with a more dynamic color palette. So yeah...if you are looking for an good affordable underwater camera then I would recommend buying this one. ... show more

I loved it! The camera is great, my three year old son learned to use it quickly, the images are clear. The battery is durable depending on the use that uses it. Very didactic for children, they take photos at all times because of the images that they have as options. It is worth buying.

First off- this is a kids camera. It’s not a cannon, so don’t expect portrait level photography. Secondly - Wow. This camera is so packed with features that it’s a little dizzying. It comes preloaded with tons of frames and scenes for silly pictures as well as filters for more nuanced photographic skill (lol) The lens itself rotates to take a selfie, clicks back and sits into camera for regular pictures. The lens seems to be pretty stable, my kids weren’t able to snap the connection at all with some HEAVY use. That’s a pretty cool little feature. The camera comes with TWO cases. One being a waterproof housing, which DOES pass the sink test quite well. The housing is suitable for protection in the pool, lake, or just in the rain trying to take pictures of puddle stomping. The other case is a rubberized bumper to protect from literally everything else. The rubberized case supports the flip up selfie mode while the underwater case does NOT, but that’s alright. Who wants their kid taking a selfie in a pool anyway. Overal, the picture quality is OK. Not great, but again this is a kids camera. It does the job. I definitely HIGHLY recommend this camera for anyone looking for a kids camera. It’s a ton of fun, very durable, good quality build that takes ok pictures. Worth the money! ... show more

My four year old daughter loves her new camera. It fits her hands perfectly and she has quickly learned how to use some of the buttons after I spent time reading the instructions manual and teaching her (it’s not a super intuitive interface but I think that’s too be expected in a non-touch screen interface with few buttons too). My only recommendation for the manufacturer is to make the volume feature louder as it’s a bit hard to hear the videos and voice memos that we record. My oldest son had received a previous version of this camera for a gift and little brother was constantly taking, so decided to get him one of his own. Appreciate that both young, toddler boys can operate. There is a battery saving mode and shuts camera off after 5 minutes! Perfect for distracted kids. Has water case included, but we typically keep is silicone case with neck strap. Survived many drops and no damage. Only difference my oldest has noted is there is not a game mode on this version (which I personally appreciate as rather it be a camera than another gaming device). ... show more
