iMBAPrice Non-Metallic 8141F-1 Siding Mounting block with built-in electrical box for smooth vertical mounting of light fixtures on all siding types. You may find the siding mounting block is very easy to install, whether you have siding up or not. For a more complete job, you may also paint the fixture to finish with your desired colors. This product is a one-piece design. The back flange mounts to the substrate with screws. There is a channel formed between the back flange and face, the same concept as J- channel. If your siding will slide into the channel and the channel is wide enough to accommodate the lap. This Fixture Mounting Canopy Siding Mounting Block. One Piece Design. Built In 6.8 Cubic Inch Box. 1" J-Channel. 1x NM Cable Connector Included. (Mounting screws not Included).

Easy to install and looks great. It looks a lot better and ended up with a better seal than what the home builder used. I used it for a ring floodlight cam. Throw some caulk on the top and sides, leave the drip hole at the bottom open in case any water gets in somehow. Would definitely use again if I put more lights outside. ... show more

This worked well and looks good once I got it up. Unfortunately the screws did not seem to work correctly and I had to go pick up some different ones. I had a unique problem where the previous lights were installed directly onto a box inside the siding, so I had to add holes on the outside of the original location. This seemed to work fine and with some caulking to prevent bugs from getting inside, they came out quite nice. I hope they last as long as my vinyl siding! ... show more

These boxes are great. There's no easier way to install an outlet on siding. The one piece construction means they don't leak. They don't crush the siding or require spacers, and they look great. It's the only box I'll use to put an outlet outside.
