The box was not damaged the helmet came in a nice helmet cover bag you can reuse when you store it or place it in your bag whole not in use The build quality is nice some people have mentioned the modular face part breaks and it wont close we will see how that holds up in the future I ordered medium did not have things on hand to measure my head so i grabbed a headphone cord wrapped it around my head and used my thumb to measure the inches just winging it to my surprise it fits perfectly id even say snug. You will have fog build up but thats a given. The vent caps are nice and click nicely Lightweight great for neck fatigue on long rides Great breathing airflow even better while riding ATM my only bummer is trying to use my ipod pros it feels odd and you have to really work with it to get it to feel right in your ear tbh its best to not have ear bud in while having tjis on lol.😂 On the topic of hearing you can hear things fine in the helmet Visibility it good you can look over your shoulders but it would be wise to just get a side view mirror. Just got this in, tried it on, made some adjustments. My first thoughts are that this is a pretty nice helmet. The quality seems to be pretty good. There were no missing stitches, the visors and the forward face lift nicely and stay in place. But when I removed the protective film from the clear visor, a small set of scratches were evident. These are hard to see in the picture, but are on the outside, so they could not have been made during shipment or when I was trying it on and getting the ridiculously long chin strap down to where the quick release buckle was properly set up. It could only have been from before the protective film was placed on it. It's only visible from inside the helmet with the light being at just the right angle, but it is nearly dead center and low, so could become a distraction while riding. Hence the one star being lost. The vents are easy to open and close. The quick release chin-strap is really nice. The padding is comfortable. Nothing smells funny. It looks great. The tint on the inner visor is nice and I can even wear glasses (sun or reader) with it down. Everything just works. I can even wear my bluetooth earbuds with this on. I'll give an update when I can get out for a ride with it and give details on wind noise, comfort, visibility, and anything else that comes to mind in the near future. Some of the components seem cheap and flimsy plastic but its the non-functional pieces. The functional parts like vents, clips, etc all seem quality. Its quite comfortable and lightweight. The visors etc are easy to use and work well. I thought I might want to return it when it came but after two rides, I think it's an ok helmet. I hope it's safe and will protect in a crash. It seems like it would. I don't do a lot of highway riding but it's comfortable at 70mph and below, not much wind noise or whistles or vibration. Also, pretty good ventilation but not great. My head wasn't hot but I had helmets in past that had better airflow ventilation. One thing I didn't care for is with face / chin part down, didn't feel like I had options or was getting a lot of fresh air. I had a fixed full face helmet years ago and I remember it had 3 vent settings. You could get enormous air flow to breathe or dial back couple steps and close air flow. While I didn't really get hot or sweaty, I didn't notice much difference in vents open or closed. On my old helmet years ago, if I opened top vents, you definitely felt airflow and cooling. I had in Colorado and remember closing because in fall your head would get cold. This helmet, I don't think there is a airflow path inside. Probably some Air comes in, but there are not good channels. ... show more

In their listing they said if the padding inside was to small to contact them and they would size up no problem. I have contacted them two weeks ago and no response. Even offered to pay them for the size up. So maybe consider a different seller since they don’t adhere to what they promised. UPDATE TO MY REVIEW. THEY DID SEND ME ANOTHER FOAM PADDING LINER QUICKLY AFTER I FINALLY GOT IN CONTACT WITH THEM. THEIR PRODUCT INFORMATION SAYS IF IT IS TO LARGE OR TO SMALL THEY WILL CORRECT THE PROBLEM. I ORDERED A MEDIUM PER THE MEASURING TECHNIQUE. IT WAS TO TIGHT FOR MY HEAD. THE IMMEDIATELY SENT ME THE REPLACEMENT PADDING TO ACCOMMODATE A LARGE SIZE. SO WITH THAT BEING SAID THEY MAKE GOOD ON THEIR PROMISE TO MAKE SIZE ADJUSTMENTS S PROMISED. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE HELP YOU PROVIDED .NOW THE HELMET IS A PERFECT FIT. IT REALLY IS COMFORTABLE WHEN YOU SIZE IT CORRECTLY. ALL THE OTHER FEATURES ARE GREAT AND EASY TO USE. I ESPECIALLY LIKE THE FLIP DOWN SUNSHADE. VERY NICE FEATURE. I had to replace an "expired" SHOEI helmet, but the price for a new one just seemed out of wack. I cannot believe the build quality of this ILM helmet, regardless of the price point. I really like the modular feature, the built in secondary dark lens, the flashing red light in the back and the overall comfort. The only two improvements I would recommend: the button to activate the flashing red light is way to hard to engage; I wish the built in dark secondary lens could be lowered just a little more so as to place ones line of sight more in the middle of the lens. I also wish the helmet were made anywhere but in China. ... show more
