This is a nice helmet. It fits well and is comfortable. I have to take my glasses off to put it on but that's no biggie. I like the quick release chin strap much better than the traditional D ring style. There is ample room for my ears and it has space for Bluetooth communication which would be handy on a long trip. Good beginner helmet for the price point. Pros: fits well, affordable, comfortable Cons: sunvisor appears to be warped and clarity is impacted, fogs pretty quick, wind noise at speeds over 55MPH. I wish it had a D-ring that I could attach to a helmet lock on my bike.

This is the best helmet I have ever owned and I have been riding for over 50 years. After reading the reviews I suspected it might be cheap but after 3 months of daily use I can say that it is solid and well built. Flip visor works perfectly and makes it easy on the ears! Very comfortable.

Strong & sturdy helmet. I have 23 inch circumference on largest part of my head. Large size fit perfectly. Clear visor shield will not fog if you pull down when on the move. At stand still is when it fogs, Noise is minimal when worn with chin guard & viser down.. I leave my vents open & do not notice noise. I love it & find it comfortable. This is a value helmet that passes all tests and standards. If you know why you’re reading this, you already know why you will or won’t buy this helmet. Concerns: - modular dual locking system isn’t 100%. You should check that your face protection is locked down each and every time you close the helmet, because it will give a false sense of being locked. -the wind protection under the chin is loose and flimsy, and will pop out if handled improperly. This is a thin plastic & fabric shield under the chin that is secured by two small thin plastic snaps. It is not very secure, if that sort of thing bothers you. -this helmet roars in the wind if you turn your head. it’s hardly noticeable full forward and under the windscreen, but turning outside of this zone becomes very loud very quickly. ... show more

I love this helmet, it’s an upgrade on my other 2 Nolan helmets. I bought it for the modular design to give an option for open face riding in hot weather. However, I find the ventilation to be very good and even though the temps have been over 30C (90F) since it arrived I haven’t felt the need to ride ‘chin-up’ Some people have commented negatively about the noise, but I think it is actually quite quiet (much better than my full face Nolan). My head is 57cm and medium is an almost perfect fit. It is perhaps a little snug at the cheeks, but probably as a new helmet should be. The visor is crystal clear and I know it is brand new, but I don’t remember any visor being so unobtrusive. I don’t use the dark visor because I always ride with sunglasses, so can’t comment on it, other than to say that it’s easy to deploy. My only slight gripe is that whilst the chin strap is comfortable and easy to release (once you learn to grab the cloth tab), the initial adjustment for length is tedious and cumbersome. ... show more
