Gotten my Jacket today, couple of things I want to point out as I found other feedback very helpful, I made a point to share my feedback so others can benefit: 1) quality: the quality is very nice, the material is very nice, and surely not cheap. Seems sturdy and can take a beating if needed. 2) the airflow: looks very nice, I think this will be a very nice jacket in warm/hot weather, also not heavy to a fault. it got pockets inside and outside, with velcro to keep positions secured. 3)Size: I m 195lbs and 6.2 tall, XL fits me like a glove, the length of the arm is just right. if you are stocky, go a size larger to allow for room around the midsection, if you are reasonably fit (not perfect, just reasonably) stay with your size and you should be fine. 4) the protective material: seems reasonable to take some beating, it is rubber-like material, flexible so the protection will be reasonable but again nothing is bulletproof. Reflection: the reflective accents are nice and do the Job Overall, I would buy this product again if something happens to this one.

I have a heavy jacket for winter riding and a denim like jacket I use in warmer weather, but it just doesn't breath. I purchased this for a) the look, b) to get a nice forming fit, and c) to stay cool, all while being protected. After looking at other reviews, I decided to go with an XL. For most clothes I'm a large. I'm 5' 10" and about 200lbs, but a more athletic frame, and the XL fits perfect. There is also room to adjust the hip fit with velcro straps if you have more of a V shape. Honestly for the the XL is almost custom cut. The jacket feels lighter than the denim and looks solid while still being breathable. I will update this review once I get out to ride in it.

Agree with other reviews; glad I followed sizing chart and ordered significantly larger that U.S. standard sizes. 6 ft. and 265 lbs. (pear shape, not John Wayne shape) and 4X was perfect. Being a summer jacket, there is not room for much more than a T-shirt or two inside; --so perfect. This thing breaths very well! Switching back and forth between my winter riding coat and this one, now in the spring, I can really tell the difference. Do not expect warm or dry. This is an armored, mesh jacket that breathes a LOT of air. Not a problem, but the zipper is opposite side from US men's normal, so just feels a little weird to use the opposite hand to zip. Quality looks very nice and quite comfortable after a wash. Have had compliments on the style, for what that's worth.

I've had this jacket for 2 years. LOL, it wasn't until today that I realized those shoulder pad external armors were not the only shoulder protection. There are CE-2 pads sewn into the shoulders as well. I've never gone down on the pavement, so I can't really attest to its sturdiness. But I've got over 600 rides on it, and all the zippers work great still. It's a relatively warm weather jacket in that the wind flows through the mesh on the upper arms. I've found it waterproof in the light rain showers I've been through. I bought a large so I could wear a heated jacket liner inside it, which works well. I'm 5'9", 173lb. It zips tight across my belly with the jacket liner. It's a lot of good jacket for the price.

The material is sturdy, the panels are strong and it looks fantastic. I ordered a 2XL based on size and the bottom is so tapered it won't come together to zip whereas the top overlaps by approximately a half inch. I only give 3 stars because of the fit. The quality is amazing especially for the price.
