It’s a very nice, and comfortable helmet. The note to get one size larger than the measurements lead you to purchase, was good advice. Measurement of my head directed to “large” and “XL” is just right. The inside liner is like a fleece blanket, very soft. My main criticism would be the placement of the sunvisor control. It’s exactly where the best spot is to put your multi-rider intercom/radio controller. May be returning for specifically that reason.

My old modular helmet's release mechanism broke, so I bought this. At half the price of my old helmet, it is twice as good. The lining is incredibly soft, it feels like you are wearing a sock hat instead of a helmet. The slots for speakers, if you have a bluetooth system, are so perfectly placed- the music sounds really great, but not once have I felt the slot touch my ear. The lock on the bottom strap is genius, it's a metal part which slides into a socket, and unlatches with ease. No more looping straps around buckles. The only downside is that I have had to tighten the screws under the sides of the visor twice. No big deal at all, I'm going to get some loktite for next time and I'll bet that solves the issue.

I really like the helmet with the modular design and 2 eye shield options. However, trying to find a replacement for the the face shield is impossible. They do not offer a replacement on the website for this model # and no one answers the phone on the website of ILM or replies to an email. Replacement to face shields to all kinds of the helmets they sell but none for model #159.

Great features and quality, especially for the price. Looked great. It operated smoothly. I usually wear a large helmet on my big round head! This "large" was just a tad small, and a friend's x large, was too big on me. Regretfully had to return it. If it fits you, a great helmet.

The helmet is comfortable fairly quiet. I ride a vfr 800 so no wind screen to speak of it has decent ventilation good helmet for the price.

Haven't found the negative yet. Face and visor flip up and can still use the sun visor. I like the chin strap diconnect and adjustment. Plain black but is racey looking, not dead conservative nor is it flashy. I plan on conservative reflective stickers(circles an rectangles). Seem solid and fits snugg not tight. Not sure about how scratch resistant or replaceable the main visor is. I like it.

I bought a full face helmet for a long trip from NYC to North Carolina and more . the helmet is comfortable and I had no issues during rain but the ventilation wasn’t that great and the helmet is very noisy at speeds over 70 mph ( that made communication device useless ) if your looking for an inexpensive helmet and travel no more that 65mph with communication device then this is your helmet . I’ve had expensive helmets leak water while driving in a tropical storm , this helmet had no leaks.
