This candle smells so good I can’t stop burning it. I adore mahogany in candles, but this candle has a sweet undertone as well. The cedar gives it a wonderful winter feel that isn’t too overpowering as well. I adore this candle and can’t recommend it enough. Not to mention the packaging is simply beautiful with the metal that has the gorgeous images on them (the metal doesn’t get hot from the flame either). I would gift these candles if I didn’t keep burning them myself.

This is Christmas in a tin... like for real. If you love Christmas or want people in your home to feel Christmasy then buy this!! When you light this you will feel like you are transported to a cozy cabin with a fireplace and Christmas tree and it's snowing outside. It lasts for a decent while even when burning for long periods and the smell is strong (but not in a bad way). Please buy this you won't regret it.

Doesn’t have a sweet over powering scent. One of the few I can stand.

Very nice scent. About the only time you can find these is around Christmas. Not over powering but still has a scent unlike a lot of pillar candles. Most important thing to know about any candle: the first time you burn it leaving it burning for an hour or more. Let the whole top of the candle melt or it will start tunneling. Make sure also that if it is a wider candle than this, it needs more than one wick. Compare burn time for candles you are considering because there is a big difference. If it is not on this website look it up. I buy these every year. They seem pretty expensive but you get a lot of hours out of this one. Buy it when you find it because once Christmas is over you will have trouble finding it and it will be more expensive if you do find it.

Love the scent!

This candle has quickly become a favorite of our household, not only for the holidays, but in general! The scent is like a breath of forest fresh air in the winter, and it's easily detectable when you walk into the room, but doesn't overpower. Because of that we probably burn this candle for far longer stretches than we do other scents. So it seems to burn more quickly, but that's just because we keep it lit! :) I love that it comes in various sizes, too, which makes it perfect for gifting to someone who might not love or want a candle, but then they get hooked too, once they smell it.

Love the smell of the candle. Really amazing,,, but it did come dented,, I think they need to wrap it in some paper or bubble wrap,.. It was for me so no big deal but would have been a problem if it was for a gift!

I have purchased these candles over and over. The smell is exactly like a forest of Pine and evergreen trees. Super clean and long lasting. The scent is my favorite because it’s a deep and true smell not like so many other candles that have a cheep fake pine scent. Definitely longer lasting and worth the higher price. They also come in a beautifully decorated can with a cover. I have three homes and each home now has my signature scent from these candles.

They need to pack these better! )
I bought two of the Illume Balsam and Cedar candles via Amazon. They came in holiday tins (one was a bit dented; I would've had to return if it was a gift. They need to pack these better!). The candles have a good scent that fills the air quickly. However, they wick constantly breaks and the candle does not burn completely-- there is wax coating the insides of the tin. Such a waste. I bought a Thymes brand candle (Frasier Fir) from a local store and it was amazing. It was the same price but is a high quality candle that burns completely --no reside in the container! And the wick is high quality and stays intact. Smells wonderful too-- perhaps a bit sweeter than the Illume one. For the price, I'll go with the Thymes candle next time, hands down.

Holy crap this candle smell wicked yummy!

We got an artificial Christmas tree this year. I’ve had a real tree every Christmas since I was a kid. I didn’t want to miss out on the fresh tree smell cuz that’s a big part of the Christmas experience. Holy crap this candle is my new favorite smell!! I’m about to order a few more. Love that it’s non-toxic with soy wax! That was criteria #1. I’ve always gotten a yankee candle but have recently avoided them after discovering they use paraffin wax and harsh fragrance ingredients. So I’ve been pretty much filling the air with toxic chemicals for my family to breath. These candles fill our home with the best smell! Def recommend! ❤️
