They are great lights and are of similar quality to the AC powered patio lights you may have seen before. The advantage to these lights is they allow you to power them from any USB power source which allows you to use them while mobile or camping to simply provide area lighting or make an outing more festive! They appear to be great quality and I tested them out with a small USB power source I had lying around. I also plugged these in to my USB power meter and they appear to pull 5.2V at exactly 1Amp for 5.2W of power. This is a very low power draw that should last 9-10 hours with a 10000mah batter pack. They appear to be constructed well and state they are weatherproof but I haven't left them out in the rain to test them. I have no issues recommending these lights. ... show more

This string light uses COB LED technology. COB has many LEDS packed closely together to form a string. This set of string lights uses COB (Chip On Board). It produces a warm glowing light and filament just like an incandescent bulb. The bulbs are bright enough for summer outdoor use. Each bulb has a built in clip which makes stringing a breeze. The bulbs are spaced 22 inches apart. It is rated at 5V with an USB A plug, so any standard USB A charger can power this lamp. I love that these plug into a USB. The amount of light is great and is a soft white. They are extremely light weight, easy to hang,….only negative is they seem like they might not hold up over time. But not sure. Wish they had were you can connect multiple sets. But maybe because they run from a usb power source….might be the limitation. Overall, great string lights. ... show more

As long as you know what you are ordering, it's a good product. The lights are bright. The bulbs won't break if they are dropped. They will work both indoors or out. What you should know is that there is not a plug. The power comes through a USB plug and you supply the power block or connect to a computer of course. The is a single string, so you cannot connect another string of lights to it. If you want more than 25 ft. then order the longer strings of lights. if you haven't price compared, this is a good value. ... show more
