Love this desk! It fits perfectly in my office and matches nicely with the Bellezza white office chair. I like that there are two ways of setting it up (the metal leg on either side). I was going to further customize it by spray painting the metal leg gold to match my office, but I'll burn that bridge another day ;) I also really love that if I choose, I can build on to this with the drawers and shelf sets. It was very easy to assemble-- even though it says two people, it was just me and Spotify in the middle of my office getting it done. My only wish is that the hole in the upper right corner could've been on the left, since that is where my outlet is and I would prefer not to have the cord visible from the laptop to the hole. It is nothing I am losing sleep over. I simply covered it up with a vase and moved on with my life. ALL SHIPPING COMPLAINERS -- STOP TELLING PEOPLE THIS IS A EXPLOITIVE PRICE; You do not take into consideration that while the desk may be $70-$80 from Ikea, the cost to ship could almost be 2x the cost of the desk for some people. I previously bought this desk from IKEA and my movers broke it (somehow put a big hole in the tabletop which is a hard feat since it's very durable) so I was on the hunt to replace the desk. It was out of stock at every ikea within 500 miles. I knew it was overpriced on Amazon, I tried to wait it out a little to see if the price would drop to a more reasonable price, and it did (I should have waited longer because it dropped even lower lol) Anyway, yes it's $80 at IKEA. If you live far from one though this is an awesome choice. I was really worried about the desk being damaged during shipment but this seller is amazing because they put Styrofoam around the box to protect it and then wrapped it in like saran wrap. The desk came fully intact without any damages. It was easy to put together (but this was my second time, remember the drawers really have to be at an extreme angle to fit in, videos on youtube) For me, because I just love this desk and didn't want anything else it was worth the extra cost to have it shipped right to my door. ... show more

3 very disappointing things about this purchase: 1.) We ordered this desk for our daughter and the shipping took forever to get to us. 2.) When we received it, the box was destroyed and that was very disappointing/concerning. 3.) Once we opened the box to start putting the desk together, we saw that it had chips, cracks, dirty streaks all over it. Not only that, but it was completely missing all the hardware to assemble it with (See attached pics). I don’t know if we received a used/returned one (we selected brand new when buying it & definitely paid the BRAND NEW$$$$$$). Our daughter was so disappointed when we told her that we were going to have to return this desk since it had taken forever to get to us and it wasn’t worth the price we paid for it. Buyer beware. Thankfully the return process wasn’t hard and we received our refund quickly after dropping it off at a UPS store. I would definitely not recommend this desk. ... show more

I have seen a lot of debate on this item and I decided to take the chance. The desk arrived completely untouched and packed with two layers of protection as to ensure this. The desk itself was fairly easy to build and l didn't need anyone to help me build it. There is also a section that allows you to choose which side you want the leg walls to be on. As in... Which side you want the open leg on (I chose the right side). It took about 30 minutes with the occasional distraction and Netflix in the background. As far as the finished product is concerned, I like the way it looks. Not too small, not too big. The two drawers come in handy and there is a place to hide the ugly cords I have for my lamp and laptop. The color of the desk was my biggest worry, I was afraid it would be a washed out white or ivory color but it is white. True to picture. All in all, very satisfied with my purchase and I see it being here for a while. ... show more
