    • First one didn't work
I ordered this to replace the igniter in my HP22 pellet stove. My old one would no longer get hot enough to ignite the pellets. I put this new one in (which was easy) and it did the exact same thing as the old one. I tried several times, thinking maybe it needed to be broken in or something. I can see it is cherry red near where the wires attach to the igniter, but the business end was not red of any shade. I requested a new one, which was sent overnight no questions asked. I appreciate the swift response. So far the replacement unit seems to be working just fine. Will update if anything changes. ... show more

Bought because it said it fits all Comfortbilt pellet stoves.I got it so I would have a backup in case my original igniter stops working.It would have been nice if it would have come with the installation instructions for my hp50 stove.

Easy installation. For the price I would hope the heating element lasts longer. The pellet stove was purchased last March. We purchased the house in August and didn't start using the stove until late October and the element went out mid December
