I am no stranger to heels, and I can NOT stand stilettos. I am 5ft 10, and stilettos always feel so unstable, like I'm gonna snap the skinny little dainty heel in half. Also, I absolutely HAAAATE heels with no platform. Even a half-inch platform is better than nothing. I have had my eye on these for a while. They're great because of the high platform and thick (but still elegant-looking) heel, and they feel fairly stable while standing and walking in them. They look pretty damn sexy, and I love the style. I got these shoes for an upcoming formal holiday party. I was looking for something in a color that would match my champagne and gold evening gown. The color isn't a perfect match, but it's close enough. Nobody will notice the shade difference as much as I will, but I am super nitpicky about color and shade matching, so I'm not worried about that. Now for the not-so-great parts of my review: 1. I got used and returned shoes. There was someone's nasty toe dirt in the foot bed, so I had to wipe them with alcohol before I could try them on. The toe of the left shoe is damaged and has a streak of white paint on it. *Sigh* I also think whoever had the first tried to add more holes to the straps, which I would have had to do anyway. I just widened the new holes with a pair of needle-nose tweezers, and they're fine. 2. They are HUGE. As many other reviews state, the straps are really baggy, and there is no fix for the strap that is not adjustable. They definitely seem to have been designed to accommodate a wide or chunky foot. Unfortunately I have a skinny size 11 foot with suuuper looong toes, so I do not have the option to size down. I refuse to walk around with my toes hanging over the ends of my shoes. Just...no. Hence, going down to a size 10 won't work for my ski feets. The forefoot has a ton of room, so my feet will inevitably shift forward. Inserts should help that. I'm not even going to try to describe how the back of the shoe fits around my achilles tendon and heel. The attached photos will illustrate that pretty well. Let's just say "They're big" and leave it at that. 3. Yes, the buckles are plastic. Why are we using plastic buckles for design elements that actually do serve a purpose? I had to be extremely careful to not break the little peg thingy when I adjusted down to different holes. I can see the plastic buckles breaking and causing a catastrophe for some poor soul, either by causing an injury, or leaving the wearer shoeless and hobbled at an event. That would really suck, so I intend to bring a backup pair of shoes JIC. Anyway....I am hoping for a slightly different pair of shoes by the same brand to be restocked. If they don't restock in time, I guess these will have to do.

I was on a mish to find a solid pair, that wouldn't break my bank, that would be comfortable and in white! Found these 3 weeks before my wedding date so I tossed my original slip on heels because they didn't look formal enough. I used these from 3:30pm - 9:30pm. Mind you we got married in Las Vegas so we walked a ton through the casinos and my feet held up fine! The zipper in the back made it so easy to slip on and slip off. Need to find another occasion to wear them.

I really wanted to like these, they are super comfortable! The straps are delicious, it fits well, they're pretty stable and easy to walk in. The one big drawback was how wide the peep-toe hole is. It's huge! When wearing these heels with nylons I felt like I was going to slide out the front of the shoe! My toes on the outside of the platform would hang off the side. If these had a smaller toe-hole they would be perfect AND super sexy!

Its a very high heel but not an issue since its not a thin heel to walk on. I loved how cute they were with my dress. I wore them to a wedding and didnt take them off for a few hours. After a while they hurt to wear but I think thats just a given with any heels this high

I bought these heels for a ball. Pro: They are comfortable and beautiful. They are true to size. I spent all night dancing and walking and didn’t get any blisters. Cons: They had no texture on the bottom for grip. I had to buy soles for them so I didn’t bust my butt walking in them. Towards the end of the night the inside sole started to peel up. These shoes!!! Perfect to wear to a wedding, these are sexy and comfortable! The gold is a soft gold not gaudy and so comfortable and stable that I wore these for 11 hours at a wedding.
