There is nothing wrong with this sink protector. I returned it simply because it didn’t fit my sink due to the dish drainer I have in one side of my sink.

    • Suction cups to hold it in place are useless
According to the laws of physics, for a suction cup to work it needs to have a concave shape. The molded-in suctions cups on this product are virtually flat, and thusly do not work AT ALL, rendering this product nearly useless, as is. Did they actually pay the engineer who designed this? What were they thinking, I wonder? I had to go to WM to buy a package of suction cups to fit the holes of this kitchen mat so it would stay put. Also, the white plastic absorbs every salsa or spaghetti stain that touches it. Don't buy it, as it is essentially a waste of money. I don't exactly like having a red freckled kitchen mat, but when I wash pans I need something to protect the edge of my farmhouse sink and the only products for that purpose are for 3.5" to 4" deep sink edges & my sink is only about 2". ... show more

Nice design. Holds in place with or without suction cup pressed on. After using for 2 months, it turned out to be quite good. Initially, it had a strong plastic smell but goes away over time. There is a bit of discoloration -- no longer white -- but quite good overall, considering that there is no mildew, mold, or food stuck to it. ... show more

    • Very Similar to Rubbermaid
These sink accessories are almost impossible to find in stores any longer. Rubbermaid was the best you could buy in stores since the 50’s and they just stopped showing up in any stores I shop at. This brand has the next best quality-though they make a fatter sink saddle that has suction cups. The other brand had a tighter fit over the sink ridge and the sheer weight and thickness of the sides kept it straight. These suction cups rarely stick and don’t work very well. ... show more

This product has a good sturdy weight, and stays in place. I have a black enameled two-bowl Kohler kitchen sink that I loathe. My husband and I kept chipping dishes on the high, divider. Until we can switch to a stainless sink, this little guard will work well.

The suctions cups are not good and the product won't adhere to the sides of the sink divider. I will use it until I can find a better product.
