This game is fantastic, and so much fun. I love watching one of my kids chicken dance while the others scramble to pickup eggs. It doesn’t take any batteries, so there are no obnoxiously loud sound while they play with it, just their giggles or a song I play for them to dance to. The only downfall is that the Velcro strap that holds the chicken booty on them isn’t long enough for most adults to wear. In order to work properly, you have to seat the chicken booty low on your body, around your butt rather than your waist, and most adults run out of chicken-booty belt before they run out of actual booty. I can understand the makers of the game didn’t want the belt to wrap around toddler players twice, but I think a strap extension would have been a great thing to include in the box. Over all, I would definitely buy this game again. Kids sort hard cardboard tokens with yellow chicks, green lizards, or rotten eggs into a dozen white plastic Easter eggs (standard Easter-egg size), and load them into the chicken booty. Then they scramble and chase the player wearing the booty around, collecting eggs as they fall and putting them into the bright colored plastic cartons. Sometimes the last egg or two doesn’t fall out very easily, so kids can either reach into the chicken booty to grab them, or turn the booty wearer upside down to shake them out. Once all twelve eggs are collected, kids tally the points based on how many chick, lizard or rotten egg tokens they have in the eggs they collected. Whether the winner ‘gets to’ or the loser ‘has to’ wear the chicken booty next depends on how cool your kids think they are. It really is a blast. It gets the kids moving more than the average board game would, they practice basic addition and subtraction to tally their points, and it’s hilarious for players and observers alike. ... show more

My kids (ages 2 and 5) love to take turns being the chicken. They think it’s hilarious to run around and shake their “booty” to disperse the eggs around the room. They also love opening the eggs to see if they got a chick, lizard or rotten egg. This is great to keep kids active, teach taking turns and to just be silly! ... show more

    • Broke during first use
I bought this for my Mom to have the 3 grandkids play when they spent the night with her. This toy broke before 30 minutes passed. Entirely too expensive for this to happen (the strap snapped)

    • Fun game for the kids, but quality leaves a bit to be desired.
My kids have had a blast with this game ever since we got it earlier this week, but on our third time playing it, the strap broke. The strap is essentially melted to itself to form a loop through the chicken booty, and it just tore right at that heat seam.

This game was interactive enough for multiple children of varied ages to enjoy playing. It’s got enough action without complication to keep my toddler entertained and has the older kids laughing and enjoying as well.
