Overall it is an ok frame. However, to hold the back in place you need to bend metal tabs up with pliers or screwdriver rather than the twist-in-kind that you can do with your hands. I didn't notice that when I purchased the frame. Also, it says it comes matted. The mat is just a plain piece of paper with a picture of the opening. It is not an actual mat. I was very disappointed by that. I thought the description could have been more clear. It's difficult to center the picture and keep it in place while you attempt to put the back on and bend those tabs in place.

I liked that it's red on the front and back. I didn't like that it's so delicate that ione got a hairline fracture when it fell on the floor. I also didn't know it had plexiglass, but that was good dance I dropped one. Just make sure you remove the plastic off of the Plexiglass.

This frame is not as nice as I hoped it to be but it does its job. Not real glass (plexi) and not wood but that's all fine. Looks good and for the purpose I am using it for, its great.

Was expecting glass as the description mentions the protective sheet so as not to get cut by the "glass." If I was giving this as a gift I'd probably return it, but for my own use it's fine. Love the red frame color. Only quality complaint is the little metal tabs on back were really stiff and had to use a little screwdriver to pry them up so as not to hurt my fingers. Overall happy with my purchase.

I framed a piece of cross stitch I had done for a dear friend. It was perfect! The mat was white on one side and ecru on the other which complimented my piece perfectly; I chose the ecru. As it must be mailed to my friend, I appreciated the non glass finish.
