I love birch trees, so I ordered these for holiday decorations. They take three AA batteries each. I like that there is a timer option so I don't have to worry about forgetting to turn them off and run down the batteries. The trunk of the tree is all the branches and wires taped together with birch looking tape, so I don't know how long the trees will hold up, but I only plan to use them during the holidays. They come in a (cardboard) box that will make them easy to store with my other Christmas decorations. They come out of the box with the branches together and the bases off; you just need to connect the wire, screw them into the base, open up the branches, spread them out and do some zhuzhing to get them they way you like. The wispy branches are straight, unlike the product photos, I guess you could technically make them look wavy like the photo, but I don't think it would be super fast or easy to do. I noticed during the day the tiny little lights have a little sparkle when they are near a window with sunlight coming in, which gives them a really nice look even when they are not lit up. I plan to set them up on my shelves that are near a big window where they will look great both during the day and when I turn them on at night. I think they are cute and would recommend trying to catch them when they are on sale.

These birch trees are quite pretty and make for an excellent accent piece for just about any room. They provide a nice ambient light with an understated elegance. Though these trees are quite lovely as is, they can easily be decorated with your favorite ornaments for any holiday. The trees arrive un-assembled, but are easy to put together. However, you have to pull the electrical wire through the base before the bottom of the tree will properly screw onto the base. You then need to stuff the electrical wire back into the small circular area where the tree attaches otherwise the bottom plate cover will not close properly after assembling and inserting the batteries. Each tree requires three AA batteries.

Sometimes you need a little extra life and light on the mantle! These lighted trees are something special for holidays or all year around. They work for home or at the office as office decor. They are best with a little distance, and not right up front. They can be set to timed mode such that they will stay on for 6 hours, turn off for 18 and then back on! When they come you will need to spread out the little branches, but that took just minutes to get them all spread out. Fun little addition to the holidays!

These birch tree centerpieces are exactly what I was searching for. They come disassembled from their base with the branches all neatly folded back, allowing me to bend and arrange them how I like. They do not come with the necessary batteries for the set, so make sure you have a total of six new AA batteries ready. I bite my nails and still the battery compartments' door was easy to open. When turned on they are nicely lit but the effect is easily overpowered by natural light and/or having a light colored background. My advice would be to put these against a dark wall or dark colored tablecloth to really showcase the lovely glow of the leds. I think the price is okay for what you are getting, but unless you follow the picture perfectly and arrange the branches along a single flat plane they will not look very full.

I'm very skeptical of how long these are going to last. Every bit of this is super cheap plastic. I would expect this from Dollar Tree, but for $18.99 this is unacceptable. From a distance and with the lights turned off, they look cute. They would look great for the holidays or just for regular decor. But if you get up close, this is a plastic pole completely covered in black and white tape with white wires hanging from it. If you have kids who can't keep their hands off stuff or a pet who could get a hold of this and chew it up, it's done for. Avoid this product as it's a waste of money. I didn't have a problem with batteries, but for the price, LED would've made more sense and better build quality overall would've justified the price. I'm curious to see how long they last, but I have low expectations.

I’m not sure if it’s a deliberate part of the style, but these tree branches don’t look like they were finished. About three quarters of the branch is thicker and wrapped in birch colored tape., but the ends of the branches are just bare white wire, which looks really tacky in my opinion. I’ve gotten several of these types of miniature light up trees before, and I’ve never seen a set that looks like this. Otherwise, they look and function fine.
