  • Excellent Beginner's Guitar & Even for Experienced Players!
I have always owned either Strats or LPs throughout my life. But, I decided to try an Ibanez without having to spend too much. Boy, I was surprised! This guitar is one big, chunk of wood! I don't mean that in a negative way at all. This thing is put together so well and is nice and tight throughout! The tremolo seems to be based on the original Edge due to the built in, but non - removable, hardened steel blades. Another buyer claimed that it's an "Edge Zero II", however I have no way to tell due to my inexperience with ibanez guitars. Very impressive build quality, that's for sure! The tone knob seemed to be a bit harder to turn, but it's nothing to worry about. I'm pretty good with guitar electronics and can replace it easily on my own, so it's not a big deal at all. The rest of the guitar needs a thorough setup, as all new guitars do, and then it'll be ready to rock! Great buy! ... show more

  • Great guitar
This guitar is great for metal and It got a county type twang to it to too … I lowered the pickups a little bit and use a joyo band controller. It sounds awesome always stays in tune when I do the dime sequels. Also I switched the tone knobs to white ones because I thought it looked better.

  • Ibanez, do better
It has a good feel but the sound is thin and lacks low-end bite. For $500 they need to put better pickups on it. I put on some Seymour Duncan invaders with some fresh strings and it finally has that bite instead of that stock and thin sound of a $50 knock-off.

  • Box came all beat up and the neck is separated from the body.
I dislike the fact I shelled out $500 for disappointment and a 30 mile trip to return it so I can get my money back. Other than that, it's a sweet broken guitar

  • I love the way it sounds and feels
I wanted to get back into playing guitar after about a 5 year break. After reading reviews I decided on this Ibanez. It came a day late, but with my long history with Amazon, It was forgivable. I love the way it sounds and feels, but I am no expert. It had to be tuned a few time when you get it out of the box, but with new strings it is expected. Been playing it every day since I got it and have no regrets buying this guitar. ... show more
