I’ve been looking for this guitar for awhile. My usual places only had it on back order. I had hoped to play it in a local music store before buying. Late one night, after finding it, I decided to go for it. I had buyers remorse before it arrived. But once I unboxed the Ibanez Q54 and started playing it, that all vanished. It’s just about the perfect guitar for me. The variety of sounds is amazing. The setup was near perfect out of the box (after tuning). It looks a little weird, but that’s OK. I am a very happy guitarist. BTW, I have owned well over 200 guitars. Just about every major manufacturer is in my collection (Fender, Gibson, PRS, Jackson, Guild, Gretsch, Ibanez, Godin, G&L, Music Man). I was intrigued by what Ibanez may have done with a headless guitar. I’d seen videos and settled on the HSS version. This will cover every sound I need in my current Blues/Soul/Jazz band.
