  • Ibanez guitar.
Really love this instrument. Ibanez makes some of the best guitars for feel. I recommend upgrading the pickups as I did. It’s now got the best of both avenues: sound and feel.

  • Steve Vai Signature
I bought this with the intention of upgrading and modifying. I upgraded the pickups to DiMarzio Dark Matter II, added a tone capacitor and added a custom truss rod cover. Pics are post modification.

  • Ibanez JEMJR Steve Vai
The JEMJR is a good guitar for a beginner and intermediate. The bridge is a little difficult to tune if you don't have experience and you may choose to lock it. My advice is that if you can wait and save a little more, buy a JEM77P, JEM7VP type. They cost twice as much but it is worth it for the quality of the wood and components. The ideal would be one of the PIA series but the prices are out of reach for most of us. ... show more
