  • Nice Guitar
Color: Black
This is a very nice guitar for the price range. It arrived 2 days earlier than expected, it was well packaged for protection. The finish was flawless, and it really is a beautiful guitar. Took it out of the box, tuned it and it played beautifully. The 5-way switch is a plus. The action is excellent, and the intonation is excellent. I normally play Fender Strats but wanted to try an Ibanez and I can say, even though it is a beginner guitar, I'm not disappointed. I recommend this guitar to anyone starting out who is looking for an inexpensive guitar that plays and sounds great. ... show more

  • A fantastic guitar worth getting.
Color: Black
First of all this is a very beautiful guitar with a flat black finish and red accents all around with a red pick guard. Second of all I had it shipped to me, and out of the box it was very well set up. The only thing that I had to do was adjust the truss rod on the neck. Surprisingly it was mostly in tune. The frets were also filed down. You don’t see that in alot of other guitars, even in guitar shops.Especially the squire guitars. The neck is some kind of wood from New Zealand and it plays very similar to the wizard III necks on the RG guitars. It does play very fast. It also does not buzz anywhere on the entire neck. The pick ups seem to be very generic, not the Ibanez infinity pick ups. Clean sounds very good, but on overdrive and or distortion it gets a bit muddy. I plan on replacing the bridge pick up anyway. All in all this is a fantastic guitar and I would highly recommend it for a beginner to intermediate. It seems to serve all purposes. ... show more

  • Absolutely fabulous Guitar.
Color: Black
This guitar is one of the most beautiful guitars I've ever seen. I love everything about it, it feels great, it's built well and ready to play out of the box. Playability is fantastic, no buzzing and it's great for both experienced players as well as beginners.

  • Just Great Out Of The Box
Color: Black
This is an hidden gem in my opinion, setup out of the box was good. I would have given it 5 stars, but the nut was tight around the strings. I had to open the gaps a little to stop binding. As for the pickups, I found the bridge pickup rocks. Great for rock and metal tone and with a high gain amp I also got great harmonic response. The neck was warm but muddy, but sounded ok. This is one of the best starter rock guitars that I have found. The rear or bridge pickup is f-spaced so it has just little bit more string spacing around bridge, good for beginners. Neck is fast and easy to play, and I have short fat fingers. I picked this up for gigging, and I changed out the pickups and did a setup on it. Stays in tune not that the nut was cut, light weight and easy on the back. Pods feel good and tight with no noise when you turn the tone or volume knobs. 5 way switch also feels great with strong clicks, and gives lots of options when playing. This is now my main go to guitar now, even in my home studio for recordings. The finish on the guitar also looked and felt great, I could not find any bad spots. ... show more

  • A looker for sure!
Color: Black
This has been my favorite guitar since I got it a few years ago! The neck feels so good and it is a perfect size for fast finger play. The pickups sound clean and with a little tuning is ready to play out of the box. With a good sound fx pedal you can make some near professional sounds. The flat black with the shiny red pick guard makes this guitar look great on display too. ... show more

  • Circumstance Review
Color: Black
Edit: Check out the video if you want to see a delivery guy drop a guitar over a fence lol Twitter @ ThingsHitTheFan I liked it but I couldn't love it. I'm not entirely sure how valid my own review is. When I received it, the delivery guy threw it over the fence(or dropped it carefully) about 4-5 feet.(included it in the video mentioned) The guitar is beautiful, as advertised. However, it failed to stay in tune. I spent about 30 minutes playing it and maybe a third of it tuning. I recorded my entire experience. And I'm trying to add the video of the delivery guy dropping the guitar. I paid good money for this so I'm not going to risk it being damaged. Also, there was some cosmetic damage but I don't think it was from being damaged. And the fretboard. I'm not sure how to say this, it looked used. The fretboard was different shades, see pictures, the middle fretboard is a different shades from the bottom two strings. (Edit: after a bit of research, it's likely that the fretboard needed some treatment) Upon further inspection, I did see some chipped off at the headstock. Again, I'm not sure if this is a result of the delivery guy or the manufacturer. I'll update as soon as I have the video compiled. ... show more
