For over $1100 dollars you would think at least a gig bag or hard shell case would be included. This bass has a really thin neck for its size, and is very playable given its width. I am new to the 6 string bass but find it not hard to fret. The multi scale fret board plays just as easily as a standard straight neck and the sound from the longer strings really booms on the lower strings.... The high end is really nice as well.... I see no cons with this bass.... ... show more

I've owned several Ibanez basses throughout the years and I've never been disappointed. They knocked it out of the park with this one. The finish is beautiful. Bartolini pickups sound phenomenal. Versatile enough for any style and this bass is extremely comfortable. I'd recommend this bass to anyone. I'd also recommend the hard case from Ibanez as well (shown in pic).
