First of all, this bass is gorgeous. It has a modern design with a sophisticated finish. Comparable features on a custom instrument would easily be 2-3x the price. The fret board feels amazing. The 18mm spacing is really comfortable compared to 17mm or 19mm. This is also the best set up bass i had straight from the factory. Action was good. So was intonation. My personal bass had no QC issues such as blemishes or bad fret work. Picks ups are great too. The pre amp is ok. One of the better ibanez pre amps but i am considering swapping it with a darkglass tone capsule. This bass is worth the money because the value of the features is so good. ... show more
