I didn't get this item in time for Christmas so I gave it to her for her 88th birthday on January 13th. She absolutely loved it and I loved filling in the pages. It was a wonderful gift and also for me to write in the book and reflect on all the wonderful memories from childhood and beyond. It is a beautiful way to tell you mom how and why you love her.

I took my time writing in this book and added a few pictures of myself and my mother in it. It's not only a great gift for your mother, it's a nice reason to self reflect on those things that make your relationship so special, as you try to fill it out and recall things you might've taken for granted or simply not thought about often. I actually found myself wanting to add things to it long after I'd gifted it, which I did with a secretive smile and left her alone to read it in private. Not even 5 minutes later, she came into my room with a tearful smile and hugged me, declaring it to be her favorite gift yet, and I'm at 30 yrs, half her age exactly. From a mother's words: It's a confirmation of everything she's ever hoped she's accomplished as a parent and it was gratifying to read exactly what I have taken from her lessons and love over the years, written in my very words and handwriting. Far more worthwhile in my opinion than things she'll use up like gift baskets of sweets or body cream, or dying flowers, as nice as they are. My advice is if you have a deep, close relationship with your mother, definitely get this for her at some point. I can't see a reason you'd have to regret it.

We purchased this for my mother in law for mother’s day... months in advance. I had my husband and his siblings fill it out as a gift to her and she loved it! I think it’s a wonderful gift for any mom- it is so sentimental and meaningful. I’m sure it will be cherished my any mom. My only complaint is that I wish some of the questions were a little deeper. That said, it’s a great gift idea and I highly recommend.

This is an excellent, well thought out book for gifting to your mom. I loved the help with what to say page by page and room to paste photos of the memories through the years. My sister and I celebrated my mom’s 100th birthday in December, this is her 68th Mother’s Day and this book was absolutely perfect for her to look at herself with us many decades ago all the way up to the present. Thank you for a wonderfully written book to help express how we feel and what to say to thank our parents. This specific book for moms.

So happy with this book purchase! I ordered it for me and my brothers to write in for Mother’s Day and there was plenty of room on the pages for all three of us to write our responses. Some of the prompts were easy, like describing your mom’s traits and favorite memories together, and some were more thought provoking like telling a surprising memory and something you’ve never shared with her. I looked at a lot of books like this and am so glad I picked this one. It is well made, a good size- not too big or small- and the prompts were nice. It also gave some ideas on how to fill it out (bullet points, sentences, drawings). I wanted something special since I couldn’t be with my mom on Mother’s Day, and this definitely did the trick! She loved it!

I got this book for my mom for mother's day, it was pretty easy to fill out, I did it in one day. It was neat to reminisce over memories while filling it out, I was overcome with emotions throughout and was crying by the end, my mom read it out loud and was so touched by my words and memories, some memories it thoughts were ones I had never shared with her before. I highly recommend this book.
