We have a 3 year old who really enjoys throwing iPads. Down the steps, across the kitchen and high up in the air. This case really takes abuse. We have tried other cases and ended up with smashed iPads almost immediately. This case does a wonderful job. Eventually the case gets beat up and we replace it with the same one. I've been using this iPad cover with screen protector and pencil holder for several years now, and it's been a great investment for my device. The protection it offers is top-notch, keeping my iPad safe from scratches and bumps. The fit is perfect for everything, including the screen protector and pencil holder. Not to mention, the design is absolutely gorgeous, adding a stylish touch to my iPad. However, after some years of use, I noticed that the interior broke on its own, almost as if the material had dried out. I would give this 5 stars, but I had to dock it a star for that absolutely horrid built-in screen protector. If you're not willing to take out the built-in screen protector, I wouldn't get this case. That being said, the screen protector is extremely easy to take out. All I did was take some scissors to it, and as I started cutting, it eventually let me just kind of peel it away. ***do note that if you do remove it, you're voiding any warranty on the case.*** The pros: ++++ Very durable. The entire iPad is protected and none of it is exposed. The iPad is held snugly and isn't loose in the slightest. ++ The case itself is very beautiful and the picture depicting the product is accurate. I'm definitely glad I went with the purple :) ++ Buttons and cutouts are aligned properly. The Pencil holder holds the Apple Pencil firmly in place until you purposely pop it out--no accidental falling out. + Sleep/awake function works. The cons: ----- The built-in screen plastic screen protector sucks. REALLY bad. I figured that it'd be pretty bad for the Apple Pencil, but even just normal touch has an INTENSE lack of responsiveness. Do yourself a favor and get an actual tempered glass screen protector and remove this garbage. - Not really a con, but it was a bit difficult to snap the iPad in, and took some finesse to get all of it under the lip of the case (which makes sense, seeming as this is properly fitted to the iPad.) ... show more

    • Protection at an affordable price
I bought this case for my son, who can be clumsy at times and drop the IPad from a few feet up. So far, the case has held up against drops. Pros-- 1. The front cover automatically puts the ipad in sleep mode, so the battery is automatically saved, My son has a tendency to turn off devices when he uses them, so by having this feature it is saving the amount of times I need to charge the case. 2. The pencil holder keeps the Apple Pencil firmly in place. It does not come out when the IPad is dropped and is very easy to get out. When you are charging the case, you can use one of the holes as a place to store the tip of the pencil. 3. Protection-- This case has fallen several times and the IPad is not being impacted at all. Cons- 1. Screen Protector-- Comparing it to the Otterbox for my IPad, the screen protector gets dirty quick and is more difficult to clean off. Considering this is for a kid, I expect it to get dirtier than mine anyway. ... show more

Ok - so most of the times I listen to the negative reviews and I would not have bought this if I did.... But I AM SO SO GLAD I DIDN’t listen this time!!!, just got it and actually searched videos on how to put it on- that actually helped a lot! In the reviews it said you can’t use the power or volumes. I have no problem with that!! I am wondering if those having issues if they just don’t have it on the right waY? I’m trying to add a video and pic! I bought another case with no screen protection. I Love the look I love the durability I don’t like the feel of the screen, but not everything is perfect lol It fits great Shuts off fine Volume works fine Not sure what else I can say 😊 ... show more
