About a week in so far, and I love the look and feel of this case. The S Pen holder works great and I like that it's on the hinge edge instead of on the side of the phone. Easy to install and remove. I haven't dared drop test my phone, but inevitably I will learn if this case protects my investment how I expect it to. The only con at the moment is not being able to use my wireless charger unless the case is removed. I'm getting a stronger charger to see if that helps, but I don't mind plugging it in or removing the case at night to charge my phone. I definitely recommend this case. ... show more

Overall the case seems to protect the phone pretty well and everything fits very well together. My only complaint is the hinge protection/where you put your pen sticks out, so it is really hard to use a stand or anything with the case. Although, it does work great as a handle since it is a huge bump in the back when the phone is unfolded. So if that isn't something that will bother you, than this phone case seems very sturdy, but also adds a lot of bulk to the phone itself. ... show more

I did research before buying a case for the fold for because I had the full three and it was a nightmare looking for cases probably spending close to half the worth of the phone just in cases for the first 6 months. Thankfully this company and their sister company came out with this right off the bat instead of waiting 6 months for research and development like last year's model. That's why I started off with this. The only downside I can see is the edges are raised a lot which can lead to swipe gestures being unresponsive. Also the front screen protector is okay I have a pouch for my phone so I don't scratch anything but when the front screen protector gets wet it is literally unstoppable the amount of accidental touches it makes and to clean the front screen is really annoying because it extends underneath the frame and when things get stuck in there it's really hard to get them out and I don't see any way to replace the front screen other than request a replacement for the entire frame or ripping the plastic out and putting your own. Other than that I'm pretty happy I got the green color and got it at a discount but I wouldn't pay $80 for a case like this. Another company just came out with one that looks almost identical to this and the sister company but it has a thinner frame by the hinge but I haven't seen any good reviews for that case because they said that kickstand is almost unusable. Other than that pair this with a carrying pouch and your phone will be in very good condition if you want to keep it for 3 years. Update: 6 months later out of all the cases I've tried that you can find that are like this in the unicorn beetle I return to this one. I tried caseborn multiple times and it was just broken and flimsy on the hinge. I did end up taking the plastic out on the screen, just heat up the edges and use an exact a knife to peel it off and just use your own tempered glass that is probably the best combo you can use. Just the feel of the edges the volume button access to the fingerprint reader is as good as you going to get with a phone like this. Any other case has been either too slippery or too bulky or breaks when it looks rugged. I even contacted this company directly and said that the front screen was just way too easily scratched and using the warranty they sent me a whole new armor box. So I have a brand new armor box after 6 months that's good service from them. ... show more

This is a heavy duty case that feels very protective. Just make sure it is installed correctly. Clean the front screen and inside screen protector before sliding on from the side. The back can be a little finicky. Make sure the top right corner is snug under the edge. The side buttons have to be aligned correctly for it to fot right. I really wanted to like this case because I thought it looked pretty cool and it has some desirable features but it's lacking in so many ways. For starters and probably one of the most important things the durability is nowhere near some other cases I've used like the otterbox defender. I dropped my phone for the first time from less than 3 feet and the case completely cracked near both the screw areas on the front of the case. My previous samaung I had a otterbox defender and I dropped that phone over 30 times and it never showed any sign of damage other than maybe a couple small scratches. The other thing about this case that's poorly executed is the attached screen protector. In the first week of owning this case, dust and debris started to get under the screen protector. And now there is quite a bit of build up which is really disappointing because it would've been a great feature if executed properly. Another thing is the phone tends to slide slightly out of position which you can tell from the hole made in the screen protector for the front facing camera. The last flaw is the edges of the case makes it impossible to do certain actions on the front screen like when moving an app from one app page to another. All in all very very disappointed. I have use this case for 8 months all I can say it does a really good job for protection specially the corners for accidental bumps or drops. All around plastic build dont be fooled it looks like rubber corrogated sidings. The negativity about this case that I dont like when youre using the front screen the sidings makes the screen smaller take note about the height gap from screen protector. I have problems typing letter A where my message is always mispelled. The back portion of the case which the sliding phone stand worn, came off and wont lock anymore which is a huge turn off since I used the tablet mode most of the time. Cheap and poorly designed against wear due to natural use. Aside of being a little bulky and little heavy in your pocket the prices if a little too high for considering quality likewise.
