I did research before buying a case for the fold for because I had the full three and it was a nightmare looking for cases probably spending close to half the worth of the phone just in cases for the first 6 months. Thankfully this company and their sister company came out with this right off the bat instead of waiting 6 months for research and development like last year's model. That's why I started off with this. The only downside I can see is the edges are raised a lot which can lead to swipe gestures being unresponsive. Also the front screen protector is okay I have a pouch for my phone so I don't scratch anything but when the front screen protector gets wet it is literally unstoppable the amount of accidental touches it makes and to clean the front screen is really annoying because it extends underneath the frame and when things get stuck in there it's really hard to get them out and I don't see any way to replace the front screen other than request a replacement for the entire frame or ripping the plastic out and putting your own. Other than that I'm pretty happy I got the green color and got it at a discount but I wouldn't pay $80 for a case like this. Another company just came out with one that looks almost identical to this and the sister company but it has a thinner frame by the hinge but I haven't seen any good reviews for that case because they said that kickstand is almost unusable. Other than that pair this with a carrying pouch and your phone will be in very good condition if you want to keep it for 3 years. Update: 6 months later out of all the cases I've tried that you can find that are like this in the unicorn beetle I return to this one. I tried caseborn multiple times and it was just broken and flimsy on the hinge. I did end up taking the plastic out on the screen, just heat up the edges and use an exact a knife to peel it off and just use your own tempered glass that is probably the best combo you can use. Just the feel of the edges the volume button access to the fingerprint reader is as good as you going to get with a phone like this. Any other case has been either too slippery or too bulky or breaks when it looks rugged. I even contacted this company directly and said that the front screen was just way too easily scratched and using the warranty they sent me a whole new armor box. So I have a brand new armor box after 6 months that's good service from them. ... show more

    • Front screen protector is the weak link

Not a fan of the plastic front screen protector. It basically immediately got dust underneath it and made the front screen look constantly gross even after cleaning both the case and screen beforehand and assembling with my hands in the microwave (the closest I'm going to get to a clean room in an apartment). After finally getting fed up and removing it (not easy) the front part of the case now doesn't have enough grip to stay in place on the front screen. Back part of the case is a totally different story, and it's rock solid, while still allowing for wireless charging. The kickstand only works in one specific way, and it's fine, although there's definitely times I'd like to use it in portrait or upside down, etc. The hinge protector and pen holder is cool, but it would be nice if you could take the pen out without first half folding the phone closed to begin with. Overall still pretty good. The already huge phone now feels like a tank with the case on, but that's what I was going for since I can't really afford to replace a nearly $2k phone at high frequency. ... show more

The case fits phone like and glove and was easy to install. Case definitely feels rugged and will surely project my phone from falls. It doesn't feel as bulky as I thought it would, which what I was worried about the most with the phone being my first fold purchase. It is worth the purchase!

I reallyooved the olor of this and the quality but it did not work for my Samsung Fold 4 .. it covered part of the 2 buttons on the right side that turn the phone on and do screen captures. I was not able to do do any screen captures with this on so it went back. Maybe it was really for the Samsung Fold 3 or 5 ... show more

I really wanted to like this case because I thought it looked pretty cool and it has some desirable features but it's lacking in so many ways. For starters and probably one of the most important things the durability is nowhere near some other cases I've used like the otterbox defender. I dropped my phone for the first time from less than 3 feet and the case completely cracked near both the screw areas on the front of the case. My previous samaung I had a otterbox defender and I dropped that phone over 30 times and it never showed any sign of damage other than maybe a couple small scratches. The other thing about this case that's poorly executed is the attached screen protector. In the first week of owning this case, dust and debris started to get under the screen protector. And now there is quite a bit of build up which is really disappointing because it would've been a great feature if executed properly. Another thing is the phone tends to slide slightly out of position which you can tell from the hole made in the screen protector for the front facing camera. The last flaw is the edges of the case makes it impossible to do certain actions on the front screen like when moving an app from one app page to another. All in all very very disappointed. You'd expect better quality when paying a higher tag on a phone case. ... show more
