UPDATE: After a 24 hour breather I Finally assembled this closet flawlessly. The TIP: For me I had to ignore all surrounding interruptions...phone on vibrate, TV off, literally focus on the task at hand. There are a lot of pieces that require your full attention. The connectors are very similar which is what had me overwhelmed. But after the breather and full attention I was able to assemble this in 20 minutes. Now I have a beautiful and functional closet. It's really solid and I like the cover to protect all contents within. The 'shelving' is taunt enough to hold lightweight items without sinking and the hooks allowed me to hang my vests. The height between the next level allows a lot of room to stack a few lightweight things. I'm glad I took another attempt with great success. This closet gave me space to store things I had in all different areas of the house, now in a single location. Great item now that I stayed FOCUSED on it alone. This has been the most difficult thing I have ever tried to put together. It may have helped to label the clear package parts like the tubing packages. After 4.5 hrs, I can not for the life of me finish assembling. I finally gave up so I can not rate the item in it's totality. I've put bird cages together, shelving, book shelves, bicycles, desks, nite tables and more. But this has been near impossible for me. So, I have an incomplete item. My rental has no closets at all in any of the rooms so finding a spot to hang things can be hard... this closet does the job; however, I don't think it will last too long with use. The quality of the fabric on it is not that good... it's a thin fabric that is made of plastic and it does actually hold the weight of items on the shelves and shoes in the bottom of it but if it's not treated very gently the fabric does rip easily. The tubing is also rather flimsy as well but with that being said, the racks inside do hold the weight of dresses and heavier coats. What's nice is the doors do slide open (although one of the loops that slides on the tubing ripped) and there are Velcro ties on the side to hold them open which is a neat feature. There are also some Velcro tabs along the middle edges of the doors to help hold it shut as well. For what it is, it's still a good value for the money... it helps out a lot. It's just not something that will hold up to being used without care. ... show more

I stumbled upon this portable closet when it appeared on my Amazon Vine recommended list, and it couldn't have come at a better time. I had been searching for a solution to store away my winter gear without taking up space in my regular closet. This portable closet fits seamlessly in my basement and offers large storage space for a variety of items. While the initial sight of the numerous parts required for assembly may seem a bit overwhelming, putting it together turned out to be a straightforward process. Overall, it proved to be a user-friendly product that perfectly suits my needs. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone in search of a similar storage solution. It's worth noting that the closet is quite lightweight and may benefit from being securely anchored to the wall for added stability. This is a decent clothes hanger but being made of pvc makes it less sturdy than I wish. It has a lot of pieces so assembly takes a bit of time. It's easy enough to do but a bit tedious. It doesn't hold a lot of weight. Moving it around isn't difficult because it's light.

The assembly looks intimidating when you see the manual first. But once you assemble the base, which takes ~5 min, you can intuitively assemble the rest in 20-30 min without even looking at the manual. But be careful about the metal tubes, their ends are very sharp. When you need to push one into a slot, push it by holding the sides. They can cut your skin if you press their ends against your palm. This portable closet looks good, it is sturdy, and is about 3 feet wide. It's very customizable too. I didn't need shelves, so removed the fabric for the top left shelf and now have two long hanging spaces. From one end to another, I can hang 5-6 T-shirts and 4 jackets. The jeans touch the floor (32 inch length). So, if you plan to hang trousers in there, don't follow the instructions 100%: place the hanger rod at the very top and don't insert the fabric for the top shelves (and optionally, neither the left bottom+1 fabric shelf). ... show more

This wardrobe isn't much of a looker but if you're looking for extra space or need more space or you have no closet, this is just perfect. This item was easy to assemble as it came along with a decent set of instructions. It didn't take me longer than 45 minutes to have it fully built. It isn't the biggest but wardrobes are only meant for articles of clothing that are frequently worn. So it isn't a big deal but I would like a few more inches of space. The material of the wardrobe seems sturdy but I don't see it lasting over a decade, not that it needs to at its price point. I recommend this product to anyone in search of a good quality wardrobe at a great price point for some much-needed or added storage space around your home ! ... show more

Um first of all I would love to know how this has good reviews. It does not look like this photo at all. Yeah it is great for folding stuff and storing it for extra closet space but it absolutely doesn't have hanging space in it. I'm so disappointed in this product and spent all that time putting it together just to realize it has no hanging space. I have a room with no closet, where I want to store my out of season clothes and stuff so I can rotate it in and out of my main closet. Just for extra organization. This little wardrobe is a perfect solution for that and I can pretty much fit a whole season's wardrobe into it! It's super sturdy and has tons of space.
