I love this book shelf it’s so beautiful, it’s a little wobbly but I think it’s just bc I have mine on carpet. It’s easy to assemble and sturdy!

During assembly I initially had “buyer’s remorse” as the very first screw would not fit into an improperly drilled hole in the shelf holder and it seemed like it was not going to be at all stable or sturdy enough; however, I fashioned a solution for the misaligned screw by using a screw anchor and substituting a screw I had in a picture hanging kit. Once the first shelf was stable enough, I kept going with the assembly hoping I wouldn’t have to keep using substitute stainless steel screws instead of the brass screws that came with it and matched the gold tone. Frankly, I just did not want to have to find a way to repackage it back up to ship the return package. I was incredibly relieved that all the glass shelves were well protected/packaged for shipping, thus arrived in tact - no chips, cracks or scratches. Once completely assembled, it looks great. Please note: It definitely needs the wall security strap and the black strap included is kind of tacky looking compared to the lovely gold shelf…I ordered another type of fastener to be less conspicuous yet safe. It is not the most stable shelf but the tempered glass certainly helped it seem a bit more substantial and did stabilize it a bit. It is perfect though for neatening and brightening up my bedroom book collection. Once past the assembly concerns, it ended up working out beautifully. FTR, it would probably not be the wisest choice for a household with kids or active pets unless it is placed in a protected nook. Thankful it all worked out in the end. No more buyer’s remorse, actually pleased with the purchase now. ... show more

I wish it would have come in silver, but I’ll just spray paint it. It’s a nice shelf that looks more expensive than it was. It was really easy to put together. I did it by myself in less than 30 minutes.

Got this as a bookcase and I am not disappointed!! The instructions are easy to follow and all the holes lined up perfectly. It didn't even take me 20 min to put together! I've got hard bound books crammed in each shelf and it still feels sturdy! I'd get another one of these shelves again!

Not great. Cheap-looking, hardware exposed everywhere, ugly finish. I had to take some of it apart to finally put the top pieces together due to poor machining. It's not expensive, yet overpriced for what it is.
