I put them up last night and they instantly started to fade on the Stay on setting number 8.I would fade them down and then they wouldn't go back up until i unplugged and replugged them in. I should have known for the price but they took so long to put up I'm dreading buying a different set less then a week later taking these down and throwing them away!! Very disappointing :(

It took me 15 minutes to untangle. It looks nothing like the picture and I pressed all the numbers on the remote and couldn't find one where it would not blink. One wire with all circled wires (lights) hanging down from it about 6". It was not at all what I was looking.

About 2 years ago we redecorated my daughter’s room. One of the little touches that helped take her room redesign from pretty cool to Awesome was twinkle lights in her window. They added a great sense of ambiance to her room and my daughter thought they were the coolest thing ever. Unfortunately, they stopped working recently. She begged us to replace them, which we did with this set of lights. These string lights come in a small box with a small instruction sheet. The lights are small LEDs that are powered through a USB adapter. You have to provide your own power adapter. I assume it’s not included because they sell these light worldwide and USB is a universal standard you can find adapters for anywhere. I’m not certain what amperage you need, but I used mine with both a 2 amp adapter and a 700mah one without issue. The lights are made of thin gauge solid copper wire that is covered with a clear plastic coating. While the strands aren’t so delicate that they’ll break with a little manipulation, the use of solid copper wire instead of a multi stranded wire makes them more susceptible to breaking if bent roughly or folded. Best advice is to be gentle with them and avoid situations where they’ll be manipulated a lot. Given the way they’re made, one break will make the whole chain stop working. In our case, we have a regular height window we put them in. The wires are almost 6 feet long. I folded them in half and twisted the length together every few inches to make them shorter. This also had the added effect of putting the lights closer together. When put up, they look pretty nice. The remote control is pretty standard for these kind of lights, containing buttons for eight different light settings, from solid to breathing (slowly fading on and off) and various types of blinking. It also has buttons to raise and lower the brightness as well as turn the lights on and off. In case you lose the remote, the USB connector has a button in that will cycle through the lighting settings. In practice, the lights work really well. They’re fixed multi-colored lights, so there are not RGB effects available, but they do look nice when cycling through the various modes. They work well and look pretty cool when combines with sheers, as we did with the window we put these in. Bottom Line: For about $15 (at time of writing), you get a good set of LED string lights. Durability will be something to watch out for if you plan on manipulating them a lot, but otherwise, these were a worthy replacement for that extra bling in my daughter’s room.
